I was traveling with my 28 year old daughter As I am her father, I went out of my way to find a hotel that had available rooms with 2 beds. I have written confirmation that I booked this type of room. However, when I arrived, well before 6:00, I was told that the reservation was for a King bed and no rooms with 2 beds were available - I showed my written confirmation of 2 beds. The woman at the front desk was very nice but the only apparent option was taking another room. So I spent over $500 more than I should have to get a second room for 2 nights! In spite of using Orbitz for years, I will look elsewhere in the future and the same goes for Hampton Inn hotels - very, very disappointed!

Except for the staff who were very nice to us and helped us out, first set of room we were given were dirty and not cleaned after previous occupants. When we were given the second room after, the rooms were less messy but still had stains and trash everywhere. The valet service was nice and front desk was prompt but the property and rooms were horrible. Cant believe its happening at a Hamptons, that too Downtown Chicago!

It was wonderful! I was traveling solo and it was the perfect room for me! Diante' (spelling?) and Tia at the front desk were very helpful and made my stay possible.I will definitely stay here again! It is clean, affordable, and centrally located.(The breakfast was also delicious)
