Art Deco architecture restored on elevators and entrance hallway.

Cool spot, clean, industrial no-frills room. Ours had a bunk bed!

Great location. Fun decor. Comfy room and bed Pool tiny and open to public

Loved the style of the rooms and the bed was one of the best I've ever slept in! Breakfast was awesome at the Cafe. The view and the drinks at the rooftop bar are a must since hotel guests get in earlier than the public. Staff was always pleasant and accommodating. My husband and I can't think of anything we did not like.

location was great. staff was great. room was great.

My recent stay at the Robey was great. We went to celebrate my cousins bachelorette and we definitely enjoyed yourselves. The room was clean very spacious. We all loved the shower and the twin bunk beds. However just like all great hotel there’s always a “but”. The fact that outside visitors were able to take full advantage of the rooftop bar and pool was a bit annoying. We were put on a waiting list. Any other day I probably wouldn’t have mind it but if there are limited seats due to Covid please make sure all hotel guest are seen first WE ARE PAYING TO STAY HERE! That is the only down fall I had with the hotel.

Had bathrobes/slippers/ear plugs/ and sound machine in bedrooms - no charge for restocking mini bar Word of caution - do NOT be in a rush if you have a drink or eat at one of the restaurants/bars on the property - service is extremely slow - had reservations Sunday for brunch at 1 and had to wait til 120 - plus they seated a couple off the street b4 our party of 4

The location is very convenient. It is adjacent to the blue line so travel from O’Hare and downtown is easy.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The common spaces are well appointed. The coffee in the lobby is excellent. There are 2 hotels in the Robey and we were apparently booked in 'the annex" which feels like a hostel--fairly thin mattresses on wooden boards, lockers instead of closets, etc. Oddly, the elevators are so slow, we needed to allow ourselves an extra 5 minutes to get out of the building.

The rooftop view of the city is stunning. The rooms are modern and nicely appointed.

This hotel is in an excellent location. It's just off the blue line. Be sure to ask for the back side of the hotel so not to hear the train running. They have a sound machine and ear plugs in the room but still... Room darkening shades work very well. The rooftop bar is cool as is the second floor lounge if you want to have a drink or work somewhere sensible. The cafe located on the ground floor offers a breakfast sandwich that is killer. Be aware you will pay an $18 resort fee that gets you decent snacks, two bottled waters, and two beers as well as internet. No iron in the room but they will bring you one. I'd stay here again.

On my way to check-in at The Robey I feel and broke my wrist on the curb outside. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful in getting me medical attention quickly. When I returned to the hotel to check-in again they told me that they upgraded my room and when I got up to the room I found a care package with items from Walgreens and doughnuts from a local doughnut shop. There was also a Get Well Soon card that the whole staff signed. They also gave me and my group a complementary breakfast. The hotel staff truly went above and beyond in their level of service, and I can't express how thankful I am to all of them. I truly felt valued and taken care of by everyone I encountered.

It was interesting stay, because hotel is worth to see even you don't stay. Well considered design, great lobby to chill out and drink some coffee. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent and very tasty breakfast, the same about diner. It would be great place from where to explore Wicker park which is considered as Chicago's Bruklin. Weather was not very mild and we spent a lot of time in our room, although it was pretty small, but it was not a surprise and the view from room was worth it. And bed is very comfy. If you are with your best intimate friend and don't care about the bathroom wright beside slightly tinted glass wall, you can go for it. Seemed quite a lot parties around, there will be always so much to do.
