Very pleased with the cleanliness. Window to back alley not well insulated, could be cold in winter, but the heat cranked up nicely.

This motel is truly a vintage place. Like a 50s diner that still has pieces from the original era. Considering the age of the property, the housekeeping crew does a phenomenal job! And they clean rooms daily, which is so rare to find nowadays. Staff is incredibly helpful and accommodative (and funny!). My only gripe is that the property is on a very busy corner. I think the windows and insulation are a bit dated, since you can hear so much traffic noise. I was worried about this at first. But I turned on the air and TV for background noise and slept just fine. Location is great. Would stay again! Thank you!

The room smelled like smoke and disinfectant. The facility was run down and close to a high traffic area. Awful.

This motel has a certain mid century charm about it. I've stayed there every time that I've visited Chicago, since 2019. Every thing you need is nearby, and everything else is easy to get to.

It's hard to go wrong with this hotel. There are so many great places to eat nearby, and getting to and from is very easy. Parking is free.

Worth it for the price - room was clean and beds were comfy, around 10-15 mins walking distance to the L train in a very nice and safe neighborhood. Also got white castle (which open 24/7) and starbucks nearby.

very nice

Beds are very uncomfortable, shower has no bath plug and no water pressure. Neighborhood is a a little sketchy.

This motel can't be beat due to it's great location in the Edgewater neighborhood. There are so many restaurants and shopping options nearby, and the parking is free. Sure it is a bit dated, but have stayed many times with no issues.

This place is not with the money you spend on it

This hotel is in a great location for visiting Chicago. It is easy to get to, has free parking, lots of restaurants and bars nearby, and local transit is easy to get to. It may not be as updated as other hotel options, but you don't go to Chicago to spend all your time in your hotel room.

Great location, and you can't beat free parking in a good Chicago location. Plenty of options for dining and drinks nearby.

This little motel has a lot going for it. Definitely worth a try if you like getting out and walking around, or being close to public transportation. Free parking is a huge bonus.
