We did enjoyed our stay with them, but it's not like other W. Hotels that we stayed before. Needs more improvement to leave up to W. Brand, as a luxury hotel.
The bellhop on Friday evening (6:15-30 pm bracket) was just awesome! He saw us getting out of an Uber and trying to navigate to the concierge, and he was out there guiding us! This has been the best service in SF so far in all of my trips! I came for a Halloween party, and everything was just awesome! I don't remember his name, but I wish everyone could work as hard as he did.
It’s a good hotel to stay
I had a corner 1-br and it was quiet and had a lot of privacy! The gym had a lot of cardio equipment but was limited on weight training. The lobby felt like a club on Friday and Saturday nights, but the noise didn't travel up to my room on the 7th floor. The bed was super comfortable and there were plenty of in-room snacks and beverages should you wish to imbibe. I would definitely stay again!
A very clean hotel very conveniently located. The rooms and views were very nice. Check in staff was efficient and courteous. I would recommend this hotel.

Room and hotel property are excellent. Bar area was nice and great selections. Breakfast options were limited and just so-so for the price.
Electric switches hard to find and difficult to understand operation. Too much tech.
Major issues with their front desk, confusion of reservations and unaccommodating and unreasonable with assisting guest. Multiple charges on credit card after their said it was wasn’t working. Rooms within a 10 room area around the elevator will keep your restless and sleepless during your stay. Expect constant long buzzing of the elevator going up and down ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT. Sounds like a vacuum. No restaurant even though restaurants are open in the city. TVs constantly change back to the W Hotel main page while your mid watching, try every 15 minutes. Coffee machine was broken when arrived on first morning but they brought a new one.
Booked the room for 3 people and when I picked the room it said 2 double beds, once I received confirmation it showed only 1 king bed, I called the hotel and they said most likely once I arrived they will change but they didn’t so we had to get a roll up bed which they charge $40 a night on top of extra fee for an additional person. The room was super small and the staff was not really helpful! Wouldn’t stay here again!!
Parking not being included was a pain.
