The area around the hotel isn't BAD by any stretch of the imagination, but it wasn't fantastic. For me it was totally fine, but some travelers may not feel the same way. However, the hotel itself was clean, inviting and comfortable. The room was cozy and well appointed. I enjoyed my stay
Staff was very friendly and helpful. They set me up with the wifi and let me use the office space after I checked out to get some work done before my flight. Office space was spacious and great. Clean rooms.
As soon as you walk out of the hotel, there are many homeless people hanging out on the streets. though I can't say that there were more than any other city neighborhoods as homelessness is a growing issue everywhere.
The room is very clean, and location is excellent. My only request is the room needs have a closet or an extra table for unpacked clothes. The room only has a very small table, no other furniture, very hard to place unpacked clothes.
