Location is great. Lots of restaurant options available. Easy access to beach and boardwalk. Location safe. Hotel is OK and average. AC was not working in the room. No problem switching to a different room. Find coffee machine not working in the second room. Beds are good. Shower in room size are average. All over a big old butt to be expected at this price point. Would choose again.

Charming, older hotel that has been VERY thoughtfully redone and upgraded. Fast elevators, nice bathrooms, and space saving design that makes the most out of smaller rooms. Small, yes. Drab, no. We selected an "interior" room (courtyard view), which was quiet. GREAT location between the Financial Dist. and Union Sq. Would stay again. VERY helpful staff.
My stay here was exactly what I needed and wanted during my weekend in San Francisco. Simple and elegant. The hotel is close to shopping and dining. The coffee shop next door was great and walking around to close by attractions was manageable. The staff were helpful and friendly. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. The hotel is central to everywhere in downtown SFO & very close to all transit methods. The staff are fantastic & very accommodating. Rooms and hotel are beautiful and very clean.
