Queen Kapiolani is located within a block of the beach, within 12 minute walk of their luau and a few minute drive from Diamond Head. They have a great restaurant, a small pool and a coffee shop. We felt safe, and enjoyed our stay.
Hotel rooms were older. No coffeemaker in room. Not much of a view from room. Water bottles were provided to fill from their machines. Very nice fitness room.
The Queen Kapiolani is a great place to stay if you want to be in Waikiki but are not really seeking to be in the heart of the craziness. And it’s just steps from both the beach and Kapiolani park!
Stayed here before and I enjoyed it just like the first time. Close to the beach and some great restaurants that are walking distance.
This place is great. Basic nice clean room, excellent view, friendly well equipped service. Pool open until 10!
We were told that they’ll be offering complimentary treats upon our arrival, but didn’t receive any. Also the picture of room was not correct.
Oh man! It was absolutely lovely. The staff was so kind and attentive. The rooms were always very clean and tidy. The guys down at the chair and towel checkout were the absolute best!!! We loved it. Thank you guys for making our stay an unforgettable one.

Hotel is pretty dated so don’t stay here if you’re looking for that resort feel. Location is good for the price and people are nice. Beware large hospitality and parking fees almost as much as the rate so it’s not as cheap as it looks. Air conditioning is loud and hard to sleep as a result.
Just enjoyed the whole atmosphere, first time in Hawaii and I'd would book another room there hopefully sometime next year, just a overall wonderful experience.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟‼️

Too many doys on the property at one time. Dog sitting on the lobby sofas on the chairs outside I reported a dog urinating in the hallway no one did anything about it I didn’t see anyone clean it up I reported it nothing happens. Not a place for me to stay again. I reserved a room with an ocean view and balcony from the website and I end up getting a corner view of the ocean view. They had a small tub, I’m 5”6and my husband is 6”3. Didn’t enjoyed my stay there. But if you have a pet you will love it.
This is my FAVORITE hotel in Honolulu! We stay here every time we visit. The location is perfect right by Waikiki Beach and view of Diamond Head. It's next to the Zoo, so the view of the park and zoo is very peaceful and serene.
The bathrooms were not sufficiently cleaned, hair, dirt, stains were present. It was extremely noisy. We could hear conversations outside in the hallways and on the street clearly, car alarms, doors slamming etc. When trying to get our luggage out of the holding area, the staff was not helpful, ignored our request to get it ourself, and literally pointed to another staff member across the lobby to assist us. Very disappointed.
