Wonderful Boutique Hotel….Mary the front desk make me feel. Welcoming..she’s professional and friendly over all the staff is very nice and of course Erika with her beautiful smile…I m surely coming back soon
I really like this hotel. I have visited Waikiki a lot over the years and the properties near the beach tend to be huge cookie cutter big chains. Renew is much more personal, unique, and less than a block from the beach. The staff is more at ease, probably because there aren't a million angry guests. An ice bucket and cups in the bathroom would be nice though.
Near ( a block from) Waikiki Beach but not on the main "drag" . Some rooms have beach views and some have small balconies. Hotel is smaller than many with less rooms per floor equals which means less noisy neighbors. An older hotel beautifully updated with island referenced decor.

This is a cute hotel but lacked in some areas. There is only valet parking available and that’s an additional $48/ day plus tip. No pool. No gym. One of the elevators was broken while we were there all week and were left with one elevator for our whole stay. This was super inconvenient as all guests from 9 floors used this and staff. Many times we had to wait a long time to use the elevator because of staff occupying it.

For a bare bones property it was what I was looking for. The bed was amazingly comfy, and aesthetically it looked nice until you look in more detail. Things need to be repaired or fixed up around the room like the sliding shudders or the cover for the AC. The elevators sound terrifying to ride. BUT staff was incredible and it has a great location close to the beach.
The property is in a good location but the on-site parking is very limited and in a terrible location. The room was just ok. It was clean and the staff was friendly. For what they charged I could of got something nicer.
Overall nice hotel. Great location and price. The ocean view was beautiful.
YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR VALET, and it was $35 a day. crazyy
I liked that the hotel was a half block from the beach. I did not like that one of the two elevators for the first six days did not go to the ninth floor where we were at. I also did not like that the air conditioner was all torn apart for two days while we were there. They should of put us in another room. Very disappointed.
The property is located just around the corner from the ocean and is also located next to an ABC store which to me was very important. We had a great stay and the room is comfortable and clean.
Great location, nice staff, very nice clean room, just the perfect spot for the start of our vacation in Hawaii
Staff at the check in counter is not very nice even a bit cold, compare to the other hotel,Prince Waikiki, which I check in during this vacation.Huge difference. Amenity fee charge 28usd/daily is super not worth it considering no pool, no fitness facility,and need to pay ADDITIONAL 35usd for daily parking.need to pay 5usd/per day, per piece for luggage storage even if I stay one night and will come back and stay another 4 night.
the hotel was in the perfect spot.. from our room we could see the sunset on the beach so that was nice. The room had a fridge. so yay. no microwave or in room coffee make which is the description said they had. So that sucked. in the room the shower was clogged, however when I told the front desk they fixed it right away so thanks for that!! Our room did also have some tiny ants in the in bathroom and I did see some on the desk. We had to make sure all snacks were put away in the fridge. they were a bit of a bother. overall this hotel was a great stay. a bit loud at times but overall a good stay
The property was perfectly posationed. The staff were so so nice got a wonderful welcome from Roxanne I am sure her name was so so nice. The rooms were spot on and cleaned every day. I would have loved a pool but apart from that a really nice place to stay
