We had a lovely stay at the Hyatt Centric. It was quiet and the furniture was very nice. The hot tub was lovely. We book valet service since we were doing a few day trips during our stay and it was very handy.
Great place close to pier 39. The only issue is that i pick city view but they have construction going on and the view is blocked by a construction mesh ( kinda see thru) but if they didclosed that i might have pick a different hotel or cheaper room.
The homeless encampment outside my window was a little concerning but that was a common occurrence around the whole city. I never once felt unsafe except for when my adult daughter went to the market in the lobby and was approached by a man as she was waiting for the elevator who she explained as “looking as if he was tweaking” and was being asked personal questions like what floor her room was on.
The location was great for easy access to Fisherman's Wharf. The property itself was clean and safe inside. However, like the rest of San Francisco these days, the neighborhood had several homeless. It is not a good idea to be outside for very long at night. Like other Hyatt properties recently, the junk fees have multiplied (e.g. "Resort fee," "Destination fee") which must drag the overall rating lower. I also noticed some peeling wall paper in our room.

Nice hotel by the water and minutes to Fisherman's Wharf. Room was large and comfortable. Bed was excellent. I highly recommend and will stay here again next time in SF.
The location is excellent, but staff working at the front desk and restaurant (dinner area) are inefficient, impolite and rude.

Well maintained and clean property, would have liked to see the spa working better ( went in a couple of times to fine bubbles not working and not very hot). Heated pool was great. Breakfast normally $30.00/pp left much to be desired. Glad it was included with our room. Parking and check in was a bit of a mess as there’s not enough room for all the cars that come in. Housekeeping staff was wonderfully friendly. Some kind of maintenance (?) was quite loud in the morning. Great location.

Overall stay was good and property was well maintained. Employees were very cooperative. However, when I checked in, I was told about destination fee of $30 as a surprise. There was no parking available at the site and I had to park in the off-site parking which was a bit of hassle.
