Upscale all inclusive resort with best food and drinks
Quick access from the airport is a plus. Rooms large enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids easily. Kids club team has lots to offer. Pool and water slide was a big hit. Beach area not the best but good enough. Food was tasty and enough to not make it boring. Shows were terrific each night.

Overall we had a great few days in Cancun. Hyatt was clean, had large comfortable rooms and beautiful grounds. The staff was very nice and attentive with bringing food/drinks.There are several pools but the water was shockingly cold. The rooms and restaurants were also very cold so bring sweaters with you. We tried to turn the fan/Ac off in the room but it didn’t help. There are a lot of food options but the food was just okay. There are options to upgrade for an extra fee but even these are subpar. Depending on what you order it can be hit or miss, if you’re a big foodie I’d recommend paying a little more for a place with better food. The other reviews about the beach chairs being taken before 9am is accurate and was so annoying. People put towels on the chairs and leave for the entire day and expect them to be there when they return. The staff should somehow enforce rules around this but I understand that’s difficult. We ended up moving other peoples towels and no surprise they never came back. The beach area is very limited as the sandy area is about two lounge chair lengths and lots of seaweed. If you’re planning to spend most of your time on the beach I’d probably stay on the main Cancun strip. We spent the day at the spa and it was very beautiful and relaxing. We also did a snorkeling tour and that was also very good. Overall enjoyed our stay and had a very relaxing trip with great weather. The price is great for an all inclusive.
The resort is great but the beach is small, if you were not outside by 7:00 AM claiming pool chairs you would struggle to find one and the food was good but they are light on serving sizes. All that being said I would definitely go back!
Great property to relax and hospitality is great

It was great for relaxing, plenty of pool space and chairs, lots of food and bar options. Not a ton going out at night if you are looking for a resort to party at. Rooms were spacious and clean and staff was friendly and helpful.
This is our second Hyatt Ziva property we've visited and it was great. I brought my 11 year old son to see the Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza. He loved the waterslides at the children's pools. The food options were good. We ate at the Italian, Mexican and Asian restaurants (reservation only req for hibachi table.) The evening entertainment was really nice and interactive. For some strange reason the main restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner was only open for breakfast. I didnt like the aggressiveness by employees to take tours to view other properties. Over-all we had a great stay, would revisit this property and recommend others.
Great service. Rooms were nice and very clean. Food wasn’t the greatest but it’s an all-inclusive. Overall, it was a great vacation.
Eroded beach sadly
The staff were amazing! They are what hospitality is all about. They were friendly, quick and efficient. If I can tip them more, I would. What I love: Staff, Pools, Bed, View from our room, the variety of food(Asian,French,Italian,Mediterranean,Mexican,etc) What I didn’t like: The beach or lack of and the seaweeds. The location- hotel is so secluded that it is so hard to go anywhere else. The resort even though it is new, lacks proper maintenance.
Our family vacation was awesome. Facilities were clean, good food and entertainment. Only thing lacking was a good beach.
