I hated the air freshener smell in the Grand Lobby, particularly when you walked into the downstairs lobby area. It was overwhelming and nauseating, and I think it will keep me from returning. Otherwise, I was really happy with the hotel.
Huge property offering a lot to do for all ages. Food was 7/10. Beach was nice. Entertainment team was great. Room was adequate, but double beds were small (prefer queen minimum), I found the pillow to be too hard (even the “soft” option), and the floor is quite slick. Stairs to the in-room tub are a hazard for sure. Very good for what it is.

There is not much vegetarian choice. Some of the staff is rude . The wait time for golf carts to room is long . Agra restaurant gave us no booking options. We tried for 3 days .
We loved Moon Palace Grand in Cancun! We're already planning to go back next year. Food was great, our son loved the pools, and we wished we could have stayed longer. We tried a lot of the restaurants, but didn't have time to get to all of them. The beach by the resort isn't the best (water is sort of brown-ish and there were red flags indicating not to go in) but you can take an excursion out to Isla Mujeres where the beach is fantastic. This was our first all-inclusive resort trip, and we all agree it's one of our best vacations ever.
The attractions for my kids were adequate but the waterpark was missing the lazy river, which would have made our experience better. For a 4-star resort, I would expect the food offering to be better.
The service and attention very deficient, the place is dirty from rooms to the restaurants which have food and debris all over, the beach condition is poor as well. The place is crowded and no staff around to help
Food and service were both very good. We ran into some sea grass issues but the resort itself is amazing.
This is great resort It too big resort and most of the time for even little activity or restaurant you should take golf carts or walk for long time. A lot to do in the hotel with a lot of activities. Not recommend for going to beach since it dirty and has a lot of see weeds. Water is kind of brown. This is the weakest point of this resort since one of the beauty in Cancun is nice and clear beach in hotel zone. Overall it’s great hotel if you are traveling with kids. Water park is great and my daughter loved it. Not an excellent luxury pool(s) but overall it has nice pools. For my next travel I might consider other hotel with better beach in hotel zone area.

Nobody came to clean out tub for 5 days, we called service numerous times so we were not able to use amenities that we paid for. Room cleaning was very poor. Room was on the first floor beside a walking path, too noise and unsecured and lost goes on.
