Recent guest reviews

The resort credit offered as part of the "VIP" treatment is a scam. They do not provide them as stated in the description. Orbitz attempted to get them to refund me the amount they charged on my credit card, but the property would not comply. Why are they even allowed to post this here?

Beautiful resort property! Had to jump through a lot of hoops and spent way too much time tryin to troubleshoot several issues with our accommodations…never ever received the resort credits that were promised to me….even after going to try and resolve with three different staff members.

We were at the property five years ago. Very few updates have been done since then. The ocean outside of the resort is full of seaweed!

Staff was great and accommodating. The beach was quiet and the water is brown so if you are looking for waves or turquoise water then this is not the place for you. We first day at ER because my daughter eat a peanut that was in vegetable roll and she is highly allergic but the staff told there’s no peanut. Luckily we had epiphanies and ambulance came right away which saved her life. The manager payed for all medical bills and the staff made her meals separately through out the rest of the stay. Also, the grand is the new resort and is not included with Nizuc or sunrise and they will try to sell you during your stay. Overall the dining options, pool area and staff were great. They worked really hard to ensure your enjoying your stay.

Love the variety of restaurants that is available within resort. Did not like all the rooms are outside the main lobby. It was quite a walk
