Dining experience could be better. The restaurants had food that was under par. We tried different restaurants and the verdict was same, poor quality that missed the mark of the restaurant's theme.

Customer service is #1,the staff is so helpful, the French, the el rancho ,Japanese were my favorite restaurants

Spent 5 days here with my family, 3 kids (7-9yo) and hubby. Room was clean, comfortable, view was beautiful. 2 full beds, pull out sofa. Only complaint is lack of storage. There was a closet, but only space for hanging and open shelves. Drawers would be nice to organize and keep things clean. Our room was cleaned each day and our refrigerator was stocked. Grounds were beautiful, lots of walking, but we didn't mind. Shuttle available, but we didn't use it. Once you learn the way around, you could find short cuts where you want to go. Wildlife is entertaining, fun to watch, but it was annoying to see so many people disregard the signs and feeding the animals. Kids club is a nice feature for our family, but we waited until several days in to utilize it, and when we wanted to use it, it was closed. No fault of the resort, more so our planning. The kids had fun when the were there. It seemed like the girls working there could use an extra hand, as when we were there they seemed to be pulled in many different directions. Food was OK. With big family, we were only able to score reservations 2 of the 5 nites and ate at the buffet the others. Enjoyed hibachi and the steakhouse. BBQ is great during the day by the beach! Staff was kind and helpful. We would love to return!

Overall the place is good, but not what I would call great. Very big resort and very “grand” looking but be prepared for a lot of walking. The jungle surroundings and animals that you see were very nice and unique. Lots of monkeys were fun to watch. Beach area was small but beautiful. Food was always good but very few items were what I would call great. Desserts were mostly flavorless. Lots of places and choices to eat and drink. Entertainment was probably more suited to kids and was not that good (IMO). Our rooms were nice and clean but ready for an update. In fact, throughout the resort I saw lots of things that are in need of updates such as uneven walkways, crumbling stairs, grout in pools just to name a few. Like I stated in the beginning we had a good trip and nice place but probably not our favorite.

I loved the resort. My only downfall was the seaweed had the beach shut down our entire trip and the last night I found a bug on my broccoli but everything else was fantastic!

The shuttle does not run in a timely manner. Some of the staff are rude. It’s hit or miss with the staff. The tub in our room was dirty. The room service takes an hour, if it actually arrives. I would not recommend the resort to a friend.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this resort! We loved having the beach option as well as the pools. The staff were so kind and helpful! It was nice to have many different options for food. We enjoyed the buffets however the restaurant food was not as good. I thought the Mexican food would be amazing as we were in Mexico however the food was too influenced by other cultures and I wish we could have experienced more of that authenticity of Mexican food while in Mexico! All around thought we had so much fun and were thankful to have the hidden cove, the beach, the 3 different pools, all the different animals, the lazy river, and the disco. Lastly we loved having a balcony where we could watch the wildlife and play cards!

The overall experience was good, however the food was average, the drinks were made out of who knows what brand of liquor. If I wanted known brands (bacardi, absolut, baileys, etc) I had to go to the main lobby bar to get them, other wise, The only thing offered was cheap and unknown brands. The rooma were spacious and very clean, but the hotel itself looks outdated. There is a lot of walki g in between buildings and the golf cart were rarely available.

Very small beach with little sand, lot of trash near to the beach. Dirty beach chairs. Golf carts needed to transport you around the property, many times they are not available or the drivers neglect to pick you up. You will waist lot of vacation time just waiting or forced to walk long distances. Noise nights especially if you stay in first floor, zooming golf carts, hotel personnel using walkie-talkie and drunk people will keep you awake all night. Poor quality food at buffets

Great clean place to stay

I didn’t like the staff special the transportation inside the resort. The resort is more for club members than for regular customers. I have been in 5 resort and this is the worst.. I only like the pool and the pool bar. People on the pool bar were super nice..

Big, huge, beautiful place. Be ready to walk everywhere with comfy shoes. I'm in a bad shape and brought terrible shoes, so my fault. Everything else is just great.

There was a leak in our room. We were on the 1st floor when I told the staff they tried to blame it on the rain which of course was impossible being on the bottom of 3 other floors. The food was horrible, food was cold and there were flies over the food. We were treated less than by the staff catering favorable to the European guests. We also found a scorpion in our room and the too smelled excessive moisture.

This is a great place to stay if ypu are interested in animals. The gardens are also beautiful.

Nice vacation spot and the food is great.

I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Don’t waste your money and time going there. The place is understaffed, some of the employees are rude and they don’t provide help to the customers. The hotel is dirty and old. Don’t even try to use the gym, is a filthy mess! When I complained about it, the answer they provided was people don’t go there to use the gym, they go for vacation! I have pictures and videos of the horrible conditions of this hotel. The gave us such a hard time when tried to do early checkout. I had both of my elder parents with me and they didn’t care about it. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes for them to complete my check-out. There’s no AC at the lobby and they kept us waiting there for so long without providing the reason of our waiting. Once again, DON’T GO there if you are looking for a good place to spend your vacation time.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this resort! We loved having the beach option as well as the pools. The staff were so kind and helpful! It was nice to have many different options for food.
