We stayed for 7 nights during Christmas week with two young kids, 2yo and 9yo. Both kids have fun at water park & eating a variety of found options at restaurants and shows. Inside resorts is very safe and clean. Staff are all welcoming and very polite. Transportation from and to airport is pretty good with very little wait. Water park has a lot of fun for both kids. Both my kids enjoy the Christmas Eve show. My 9yo also enjoy other kid themed show in the evening. I took out one star just because the light in the room to dim for me. Really hard to see things very clear along room hallway and bath/shower place. If you drop something, will be very hard to find it because of the dim lighting.

Overall fun experience for kids. You can’t beat the water park and fun atmosphere. Good options in the park and wait staff was superb. “Juan” was amazing. Sadly we could get I to all the restaraunts or character dining because concierge was closed when we checked in and the next day we discovered it’s sold out. We tried to order room service from those restaraunts and discovered we could not. We could only order from a limited room service menu. The shower enclosure in the room leaked and the entire bathroom floor was wet after every shower. Real world problems I know, but just trying to report the good with the bad.
We had a fantastic trip. The service was amazing both at the hotel and the water park. The food was also very good. The Piazza restaurant was amazing. However, for large groups it is difficult to make a reservation. Finally they were able to accommodate us but only offered a family style selection, and we couldn’t choose any of our meals, it was the chefs selection. I do wish we were able to choose meals off the menu as we heard some other meals were recommended and wish we could have tried them. The only other complaint is the check in and check out process. This process is very unorganized and takes way too long. During our check out there were only 3 people checking people in and out, while there were about 4-5 workers standing around talking behind the counters and the desk area with a growing line. There must have been about 15-20 family’s waiting. Overall a great trip, the kids loved it. They just need to improve on a few things.

The property and water park is nice, but the beach is horrible.
The spa was not open, the gym was not open. The staff seemed lost and unprepared. Transportation within the property was a nightmare. Room service was really slow. Concierge services was helpless and was only interested in selling memberships to their loyalty program.
Theres is NO Nickelodeon Resort in Riviera Maya. Do not waiste your money because is still closed. They cancelled my reservation a couple of days before our vacation, and I had to desperetely look for another resort.
The property is close and you charge me money in my card. Is nasty
