Property was beautiful and clean. Staff was welcoming. Room was comfortable. Only issue was with the spa and it’s communication.
I liked everything especially the friendliness of the staff. The live music every night was great. The layout of the resort was wonderful. I really loved the heated pool. The beach had a build up of seaweed but the staff did a great job racking it up and once you got into the ocean and went a few feet the water was clear and warm.
The service was 5-Star. Every staff member was very attentive to every need. The rooms are magnificent.
My husband and I love the Excellence. We have been to this location twice now and the Playa location once. The food is amazing! There are no wrong choices, we didn’t get anything we didn’t like. However, I don’t suggest going to the buffet close to closing time but that was our fault. The rooms are clean. The mini bar has great options that are all included. Also, there’s a clothing steamer that works so well I am going to buy the same one. There are pool options if you prefer quiet and peace or a more lively experience. Night entertainment was definitely entertaining! The only thing I wish I knew before going is that there are no straws offered anymore. The only way to get a straw is to go to the coconut or pineapple show at the beach certain days at 12:30pm. Then guard that straw with your life! We are already thinking about when we can make it back! Everything was truly excellent!
Absolutely divine! Prompt and friendly service, the property was maintained beautifully, and the food was spectacular.

Staff and service
The staff is unbeatable. We mentioned at least once a day how nice everyone is. They truly go out of their way to make your stay excellent. Even IF an issue comes up, you mention it to them, and they take care of it AND find a way to make it up to you. I wasn't confident that I'd like the food because it's an all-inclusive, but almost everything we had was delicious. And it we didn't particularly like something, we just ordered something else, generally after getting advice from the ERC staff. The resort and our room were BEAUTIFUL. Our spa treatment was spectacular! Every moment there was heaven!
First time staying at this resort and will definitely be back. The staff were amazing and so attentive and happy to assist. Size of the property was great and convenient for getting around. So much fun being able to see similar faces of other guests throughout the week. Awesome activities as well! 10/10 would recommend.
Can't say enough incredible things about this resort and the phenomenal staff that keep it running so smoothly. We had so many choices for meals and the food was fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The pool areas were gorgeous and our room was amazing. Our fridge was kept stocked and the housekeeping team had our room so beautiful at all times of day. We will definitely be back!
Overall this property was excellent. I've been to other resorts, but the service was exceptional!! The resort really go beyond to make every moment memorable. The hotel was clean and had a lot of food options along with vegan options. The Mexican night fiesta was a nice added touch to the week. Good bands & shows at night. A drink menu with many options. The layout of the hotel & beach area was nice with many chairs and umbrellas. Loved my swim up room in block 5. Lots to do and see. I would highly recommend this hotel.
