I’ve stayed here before when visiting family that’s in the hospital at UCLA. Back here again for the same reason. Easy walk to anywhere in Westwood Village and ti Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
Very average hotel - staff member was unnecc confrontational about me moving my car from a space
The public areas (lobby and especially parking) range from worn out to downright uncomfortable. Most of the parking is along an ally across from a Denny's rear entrance with dumpsters and homeless people hanging around. That said, the room we had was pretty clean and quite large compares to a lot of other city hotels. The room did need some repairs - the shower curtain rod mounts were pulling out of the wall and so was a towel hook on the door.
Clean & convenient. Loved the free breakfast & 24h coffee refills. Refrigerator & microwave was very useful. Close to Trader Joe's, Target & CVS. Easy to access UCLA.
This hotel is not a particularly enjoyable place to stay, but it does the trick of giving you some place to sleep and safely park your car for the evening. The included breakfast is not great, but it is something to eat in the morning. They offer packaged pastries and a few other items.
Location location location… quiet neighborhood within minutes of UCLA & Hammer Gallery , within a block of Wiltshire Blvd & Denny’s Restaurant. Best price in a neighbourhood of higher end hotels
Property located close enough to UCLA and restaurants. I definitely would stay again each time I visit UCLA.
Excellent location, rooms are large and spacious, bathrooms are small but well equipped and comfortable, appreciated the small fridge and microwave, little dining nook. [Suggestions: The rooms could be brightened up very simply (shades are often drawn for the heat and privacy and this makes sense) by using a brighter comforter cover and perhaps more modern lamps, a different coat of paint. Breakfast was adequate but could be either eliminated (because of options close by) or made a bit more classy. For example, instead of a whole lot of bread and some less-interesting pastries, why not just have a few bars and bottled juices and yoghurts, bananas and apples for people to grab and go. Water and sodas available for purchase.] All in all, a great stay, a gem of a hotel, fantastic location for UCLA campus. Would definitely stay again and recommend highly.
Have realistic expectations - this is a reasonably priced, no-frills place to conveniently stay overnight in Westwood. (Fantastic location, free parking, free breakfast, staff was friendly) I stayed there to avoid morning LA traffic to the Federal Building, and it was perfect for that. Room was sparse just like the photo, but pleasantly large (ours even had a little kitchenette and dining table for 4), breakfast was decent (pancake machine, oatmeal, hardboiled eggs all to go), and bed/bath were clean and comfortable. It did have one of those old wall AC/Heat units (loud!), but unit worked well and I just cooled the room before turning it off for sleep. Definitely would book again if I have quick business at UCLA or Westwood area!

While this wasn't a fancy five star hotel, it met the needs of a hotel room. If you need a place to sleep this works great! I spent most of my days out at UCLA, so I just needed a place to come home to and crash. The room was clean, had a mini fridge and microwave, bed was comfy, room was surprisingly roomy. I already booked my stay for my next trip. The free parking was great, but I didn't even use my car because everything was walkable from the hotel.
Great relatively inexpensive place to stay in Westwood Village; super convenient to everything, fairly quiet street. We've stayed here 3 times now--happy every time. Kind, very helpful and accommodating staff.

Perfect location for visiting my UCLA daughter! This is a rehabbed old school LA Motel, but the updates are nice. The single queen suite was spacious. Really appreciate that they let us che k in at 1:00!
