Star was professional and nice , but walls are paper thin and there was a lot of noise.

The staff that greeted us and checked us in were extremely friendly, as were the valets. Property was clean and secure.

Upon arriving, the only option for parking was valet and it is obscenely expensive (almost $60 a day.) When entering the building, the hotel is very clean and modern. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. We were assured at check-in that our breakfast was included in the stay and complementary. When entering our room, we immediately wanted to unpack. Unfortunately, we were unable to do so because there was limited storage space. All we had for the two of us were three shallow small drawers which barely fit two pairs of pants and some miscellaneous shelving space that wasn’t useful. When using the bathroom and shower, we also noticed that the lighting was not great and the shower pressure was little to none (we’ve had better pressure in an inexpensive motel which says a lot.) Aside from those cons, the room was clean, the beds were comfy, and the smart TV was functional. Would I say that the room was functional as a whole? Absolutely not. It looked nice, but proved to be not user friendly. Breakfast was fresh, but honestly, repetitive and a little boring. Same exact preparation of eggs and potatoes every day and little variety. The only thing that wasn’t consistent was the coffee and hot water. Some days it was nice and hot, some days it was disappointing and lukewarm.

I went through Orbitz to book the hotel which cost $300 for just one night for an average room. Then I was charged another $300 by the hotel itself! They did not give me a receipt for this as I had booked through Orbitz. I called the hotel a month ago and they said I would receive a refund within 5 days. I never received the refund. I had do a dispute with my credit card company in order to receive the refund. I believe Orbitz had not paid AC Marriott for the room. I also did not receive the points Marriott had promised me.

The cleanliness of the property especially the pool area which I love

The picture of the pool is misleading. It is really an oversized hot tub without the jets. You cannot swim laps because it is about 6 feet long....

Great location and a great staff

I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness. Several hairs in the bathrooms and one on my sheets. There looked to be a couple of spots on the floor they missed while mopping. The room was not filthy, it was just not up to where I would have expected it to be for the amount of money I paid. There is only valet parking, you park your car and it is TIGHT. So, if you have a large vehicle, it might not work for you. Once you’ve parked your car, you leave your keys at the front desk. The one thing I cannot rave enough about was the staff. They were amazing. Very friendly and on top of everything. I would stay at this hotel again just for the staff. I was in the area for surgery it took less than 5 minutes to get from the hotel to Cedars Sinai. The location was perfect for me.

El lugar es increíble y la atención de su personal, está situado cerca a zonas Liu buenas de turismo
