Loved Koreatown and will be back for the awesome array of Korean food, yummy bites from Mexican/Latino street vendors, panderias, paletas, amazing Korean spa, local Buddhist temple, and proximity to Dodgers Stadium. About the hotel: depends on what you want out of a hotel - this is a pretty bare bones facility. You'll get a bed, tv, nice shower/bathroom but not even a coffee machine or refrigerator. Staff was very friendly. There's good coffee at Gris Azul cafe nearby but not until 7am, or the nearby panderia has the sweet stuff earlier.

We stayed for 5 nights. Upon entry, the lobby had a very pungent fragrance that carried upstairs to the rooms. The room was small and lacked some basic amenities like ice, water, or a mini fridge. The bed and the pillows were not very comfortable at all. We had issues with the humidity in the room because the bathroom has an open shower without proper drainage. After each shower, a big puddle of water pooled on the floor. The glass doors partitioning the bathroom offered no privacy whatsoever. The location was pretty central, though, and onsite parking was easy. With all that said, however, I would not recommend staying here.
