What I liked about the Hotel was the immaculate grounds surrounding the Hotel. It was truly wonderful experience. The Hotel from the outside was picture perfect with the Mission Style/ Santa Barbara look.

People either go to this "resort" to golf, or see the ocean. If you're not there to golf, and hope to see the ocean, the staff seemed like their trained to dissuade you. The property is very large, so I offered to pay full price for a game of golf just to get a golf cart to take my spouse and 3 year old near the ocean. That's not allowed there, and no one is allowed to walk close to the golf course. So you either need to walk a couple of miles to see the water, or get in your car and drive (to whatever beach you want). They also have no play pens or cribs for babies and toddlers.
