We booked a Go Room and it definitely needed to be cleaned better. The property is older and in need of some upkeep but our room had tons of dust and random splatters all about. The door to the bathroom had dried gross, the bench was heavily stained and we had multiple light bulbs out. The bed was clean and comfortable at least. The property is in a great location for a good price which is what we were looking for.
The Flamingo location is excellent and it has all of the history of the strip. The hotel is old but has been renovated many times. It’s not as glamorous or new/nice as the other hotel/casinos around. It is a great place to call headquarters for your many adventures in Las Vegas. To get Bang for your Buck, the Fabulous Flamingo is a great choice.
The bathroom was nasty! The shower curtain had ugly stains on it that looked like red body fluid
Rooms wasn’t busy but our room was way too far from elevators
The room was fine however it lacked soap and shampoo in the bathroom. We also never got housekeeping the second day so ran out of towels and cups, etc. Tried talking to someone at front desk about the issues (as phone didnt work either) but no matter what time of day the lineup was crazy long so that was super frustrating.
The new system of using your key card on the elevator did not work at all. There were issues every time to scan the card for your floor. If you were not the 1st person on the elevator, you would not be able to scan and select your floor. This seemed to be a common issue that everyone was complaining about. many times people would miss their floor as they were not able to get their key card to scan before the elevator reached their floor causing them to have to stay on until it eventually worked.
The Flamingo isn’t a very updated hotel in Las Vegas. Rooms are smaller than most hotels off the strip. Good location

It is a well maintained mid-strip property with 2 nice pools, plenty of dining options and very reaonable rates. Although the hotel is the oldest on the strip, i think it still looks beautiful and fresh.
Centrally located on the strip. For the price, it came with some issues. AC wasn’t working but they fixed it, waited over an hour for an ironing board cover, WiFi even though you pay for it through resort fees was non existent or they tried to charge you. The room was decent, the room I picked had a view of the strip. If on a budget and you’re ok with issues, this is the place for you.

Hotel was not up to date like most hotels. Had lots of restaurants and places to see.
Hotel room and bathroom was filthy. Housekeeping was extremely rude
Was robbed in our room while we were sleeping. Took wallet and wife’s purse. Security came and acted like it happens all the time. Took our names and numbers and never heard from them again. Hotel didn’t seam to care either. By the way no security cameras in the hotel hallways. Only four strip hotels do. Think it was an inside job with staff. Was not drunk or under any influences. Can’t believe they have the audacity to do this while in the room! Imagine if I would’ve woke up could’ve been a mess! Any ways never staying again there. MGM I will stay since they have the security even on the upper floors.
