The property was absolutely perfect. Grest staff and rooms. One of the night desk workers was rude. But everyone has an off day so i cant complain

Nice hotel in downtown Reno. All the staff was friendly from the valet to the front desk. Had a great stay.
I will only stay there because its clean and no casino noise.
Worst experience I can remember in a US Hotel, by far. 1. Started at check in. They didn't have correct no. nights. Might have been Orbitz but they had it right and Renaissance had it wrong. 2. Big price. Small room. No counter space in bathroom. Just sink and 4 inches of countertop on all 4 sides. 3.No towels in room. Discovered AFTER shower. 4.Encountered another guest on same floor on elevator-They had no towels either and also discovered this only after wet. There's not even a towel shelf or hook. 5. 90* plus days but AC couldn't get room cooler than 76* so sweaty days AND nights. 6. After long day came back and found room had not been served by house keeping. Before leaving for dinner rang desk and asked for housekeeping and AC check. 7.Back late and.... NO housekeeping and NO AC repair. 8.More, but last laugh is TV guide card showed all wrong channels. 9. Shared experience with check-out staff who apologized and asked for my contact info. so Gen. Mng. could call me to discuss and possibly offer satisfaction. 10. One week later and not a peep. 11. I guess he has more important work to do.
My husband and I planned a little Staycation for his birthday, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with everything the hotel had to offer. From the extremely generous and friendly staff, to the clean & comfy hotel room, all the way to breakfast at The Shore... we couldn’t have been more pleased. This is our new go-to Staycation spot, and we can’t wait to bring our children with us next time!
The hotel is nice. The management team, if I were their director I would send them for proper training...The TV in the room did not work. The staff did not do anything to fix this problem. I asked in advance for extra pillows and a blanket, it took three request for these things to arrived in the room, why? I must say that they did credit me a portion of the total hotel rental day fee. However, the experience at this property was horrible.
I highly recommend this hotel. They spared no expense in upgrades. I never slept so good in my life. The beds were amazing! The location was great...right downtown and on the river. They have a signature smell that hits you when you walk in. All part of the experience. You can even buy it online, which I am going to do. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. I can’t enough good things. I will definitely be staying again. I liked the fact there was no gaming. The room service food was amazing.
Any hotel of this price should include free wifi. They wante $10 extra.
