The property and its views were beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful. I spent my week watching whales from our balcony, the pools, and restaurants.. very lovely. The service staff were always very helpful.

We were caught in a Category 3 hurricane and the first 3 days had no access to anything. 2 nights of no power in 80 weather. No wifi, no housekeeping and limit of 3 food choices (paid by us) . At checkout they refused to waive the Resort fees. For wifi and amenities that we could not use. Terrible service. Overpriced in every way.

The staff was extremely nice and kind. The place is very beautiful overlookong the ocean. The hotel was clean. I would love to come back. The jetted hot tub is really nice.

The shower was amazing in our bathroom. The gym has a personal trainer (Marlo) great service! The restaurant needs to be a little faster, took a while to get our food. Room service was good except they forgot the utensils. If you stay here book on building F for the best view. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation.

Beautiful property. Did not like the all the hills on property. In order to go to pool, bar restaurant, beach etc, yiu habe to hike up and down hills. No elevators, wife has bad knees and I’m also a disabled vet. No wheelchairs offered, but they do offer golf cart transportation. No ice machine, room did not have a fridge, or kitchen. I reserved a studio and studios generally come with small kitchen.

Pros: Incredible 280 ocean views, easy access to the beach, over-the-top friendly staff especially Daniel & Eliseo at the Altura restaurant, 3 great pool options, huge room options, yummy authentic food at the restaurants, warm-water pool for kids, easy access to the city, smaller resort with more privacy. Daily room cleaning. Laundry available for personal use on the property, washer w/quarters, but free dryers. Reasonably priced, great for families. Great mini mart on-site with most basic items needed. Cons: Get ready to walk ALOT uphill & up stairs throughout the property, our room lacked proper cleaning, the microwave, fridge, & stove-top were dirty with crumbs. Rooms are bit outdated with faulty toilets & we had clogged kitchen sink upon checkin. They charge for all water & coffee in the room. Takes 5-7 minutes for the golf carts to pick you up to get around the property. Some meals at the Inizio restaurant are over-priced for portion size. They ask facial masks be warn in all public spaces & we didn’t get the notice until after the booking. We booked a room that had unobstructed ocean views in the pictures, but when we arrived there was a building that partially blocked our room. The gym lacks a lot of equipment, but the staff is super friendly. With all this said, the walking up & down grew on us & we would stay there again & again. ;)

It is a beautiful resort. Beautiful view of the ocean. The cost of amenities were reasonable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I had a lovely time spending my vacation at this resort.

Amazing views and sounds of the beach crashing. Nearly private beach walks, friendly staff. Not everything runs on-time, but hey, nice place.

Great spot would stay again

Staff is super nice and helpful. The views are beautiful. As the property is located along the side of a small mountain, it is very interesting, and does require a bit of up and down hill walking, though you can always contact the front desk for a lift if you really need, they are super nice and its free service.
