IMO TRU is the best low to midpriced hotel out there. New facilities. Spare but stylish.
The door latch worked backwards, there was a creaking and dripping in the wall all night. The TV was hard to use.
Convenient to get to from 95
Lots of trouble with the door lock. Grumpy staff at check in. Pancake maker was fun and popular but caused large backups.

The pillows need replaced smelled and were crappy
The room cleaning wasn’t up to par. One of the bed side tables had sticky residue (like spilled coffee) on it. The shower had some hair on the walls which is pretty gross.
AC unit in room would not stop running for some reason. Compare it to sleeping next to refrigerator. Had to use ear plugs to sleep.

It was brand new. It is a modern take on the standard hotel. Lively atmosphere even we are still experiencing COVID restrictions. The fitness center was nice and spacious.
