It was our first time staying here and we rented one of the cabins and it was everything we needed for a family of 3. Very clean, comfortable and relaxing. The pool was also very nice, clean and just a short distance from our cabin. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again š
We have stayed here before and always pleased with the cabins. The pool was not open yet, much to chilly anyway. The fishing was fun and close proximity to the beaches. Check-in was easy, staff is very nice and cabins are nice. Heat, air, TV, comfortable beds, great restaurants nearby, and hot water. The only negative is the ants in our cabin were a little bothersome.

They told me linens and towels were not provided and I brought them. They neglected to say that blankets weren't provided. Linens means sheets. The woman in the office didn't wear a mask when I checked in. That shouldn't happen in any hotel. She's face to face with people from all over the country all day long. They make you sign a piece of paper saying you won't park on the grass (they make you sign a couple pieces of paper threatening to fine you if you do certain things). But there's no place else to park. When I asked about that, they said, oh, we know you have to park on the grass, we won't tow you away. So why did they make me sign a piece of paper to that effect? On the whole, unfriendly, suspicious, and chintzy.
Absolutely loved the cottage we stayed in. Absolutely adorable. Not a far walk from the bathhouse and the bathhouse was clean. Woman (sorry, terrible with names) checking us in and out was super friendly. Definitely will be back when we do another weekend trip.
The cabins and bath house were both very clean and the pool was wonderful. The only complaint I had was that the dryer did not dry the clothes very well.
It was the absolute BEST vacation we have EVER been on. I have a handicapped daughter (40 years old) who is hemiplegic and uses a cane to walk. She said it was her best vacation ever. The employees could not have been more helpful and kind. It was a beautiful place and it was so quiet and peaceful. Will definitely make this OUR vacation spot!
