This place was perfect. We were able to park for the extended weekend and walk everywhere due to its proximity to the beach and Boardwalk. We enjoyed coffee on our Balcony in the morning watching the sunrise on the beach and drinks around the fire put downstairs in the evening. This place was awesome!

Great weekend getaway

Looking to get away for a long weekend and decided to go somewhere we haven't gone to in a while. Not too far from Raleigh and once we arrived we didn't need the car as there is so much to offer in walking distance.

I'm in a power wheelchair and the room and bathroom were both very spacious and easily accessible. Staff was very accommodating. Room and entire facility was exceptionally clean. We plan on going back in the spring.

The staff was excellent. Internet outage impacted the entire island. They manually check us into our room. Very pleasant even under the pressure of a full lobby. Hotel is somewhat dated but has been remodeled nicely over the years. AC is ice cold! Very convenient location with good restaurants within walking distance. This has become one of our favorite stays!

We only had 2 little problems, this was the first hotel I've ever been in that I couldn't hook up my fire stick without getting help from the front desk then I had to call at&t so they could unlock the TV in my room, took about 2 1/2 hours and the next day housekeeping never came to our room to empty the trash and replace the toiletries so we had to do it ourselves, we didn't expect the bed to be made. Everything thing else was nice , breakfast was good, room was very nice and clean, we got upgraded to a queen suite due to a recent storm that damaged a lot of ocean front rooms but our suite had a good view of the ocean. The cleanliness of this hotel was outstanding from the lobbies to hallways, elevators, pool and fire pit area. The tiki bar was very nice too along with all the staff that we dealt with. Great location too within walking distance of good restaurants, shopping and fishing. I would come here again.
