You get what you pay for. It wasn't horrendous or anything. Simple and clean for the most part. Obviously outdated, but not bad for the price.

Wasn’t expecting anything special at the price point, but the place was areal dump.

Good.

Very nice staff. BUT...Hair, hair, hair everywhere(short curlies if you catch my drift). In the shower, on the tub and on the shower walls (along with a previously used bar of soap); hair in the bed, between the sheets (along with the blood stained mattress and the grime), hairs on the toilet seat -yes the seat- with some kind of substance splattered. Crumbs of left over ramen noodles on the sink. Dead bugs on the floor and one in one of the beds. The smell was of freshly smoked cigarettes and must. And oh, the party in the adjacent room that raged passed 4am. One of those regretful situations where you drive for 8 hours and have to stop out of necessity and immediately regret it. The only thing this place was missing was bed bugs.. If we didnt check in after 1AM, EXHAUSTED, at the last place we found above 1 star, we would have left. We got our few hours of restlessness.. oh i mean rest.. and got back on the road bright and early. If you like hovering over a toilet in your own room, gagging to shower, and feeling like you're contracting an STD from what your sleeping ON, this is a great spot for you. But again, night clerk was a sweetheart.

Smelled musty on opening; I asked for a non-smoking room. I didn't smell any smoke, but it didn't have a No Smoking sign on the doors as other room shad. The fridge didn't work (yes, it was plugged in), various light switches apparently didn't do anything. But its (fairly) inexpensive.... ??

We wanted clean, inexpensive, basic accommodations for a one night stay on I-95. This fit the bill, if only just. It's an old 60s era open air motel that has been renovated. Looks like about half the place is still closed and slowly being rehabbed. Room was fairly recently updated and clean. Staff very pleasant. "Free Breakfast" is coffee and donuts/pastries in the lobby-- we took a pass. It was fine overall, but you could likely find a nicer place for about the same price.

friendly staff , ok room, comfy beds, reasonable overall

We are sad to hear how many issues you had in your room. We wish these issues had been brought up with us upon check in so that we could have moved you to a different room

Thanks for letting us know about some of the issues you had on your recent stay. Some of these issues could have been quickly and easily fixed by our staff if they had been informed. We are not sure which room you stayed in during your stay so we are not able to directly address the issue about the no smoking sign/fridge. However, we can address that the issue with the light switches not seeming to work has to do with the switches controlling specific electrical outlets, which may have been why the fridge was not working for you on your stay if someone flipped the switch off. We hope the rest of your trip went well and we hope to see you again.

We are sad to hear that our rooms barely met your expectations. As you noted only about half the property is being rented at the moment, we are doing renovations on the other building not in use. We do expect to improve our lobby and breakfast area in order to provide a more complete and diverse breakfast in the morning. Please let us know if you had any other suggestions or feedback on the current state of our property.
