Fire alarm pulled at 6am Room had exposed wires (old smoke alarm?) hanging out of the wall
Our ground floor room felt damp, although it was a very rainy day. COVID precautious were obviously being taken, from reception to to pre-packaged breakfast items. Very pleasant desk clerk & clean room.
Facilities were clean & smoke free. Room was clean and comfortable.
I. would have liked the cable to have added channels and instead of only oatmeal ( not everyone"s favorite) as a hot cereal to add instant grits as another choice
I liked the location as I was going to Rocky Mount Mills.
Mice outside rooms on bottom floor. Needs lots of upgrading. One old wash machine that never drained. Balcony dipping like going to fall. Toilets aweful and all stopped up with no help from staff. They tell you to come down and get a plunger. Didn’t help. Never bring extra towels etc. you have to do it all. Lazy staff at best but aren’t rude. Wouldn’t go back- not even worth the cheap rate and short stay. Only clean every 3rd day if you stay!! Pool ok but handle falling over. Book elsewhere people! Will offer at least it was clean.
I basically just needed a place to sleep and was totally satisfied. The Internet wasn't the quickest but it was there and free. The thermostat was weird and took a while to figure out but it was fine. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot, there was a TV and breakfast in the morning. It was everything I needed.
Traveling through, this was a great, affordable, clean hotel.
Just needed a quick place to stay at a reasonable price. This fit the bill.
Difficult to get I to the hotel since no direct access from the main road. Even Garmin could not locate since you needed to turn onto an unnamed road behind a bank to get to the back of the hotel and then drive around the building to checkin.
Three friends and I stopped by this hotel on the way north to New York for thanksgiving break. It was a fine experience, just looking for a basic vanilla room and thats what we got!
A great stay. The rooms were clean but beds were small not a queen
Advertised HBO and they had none, advertised high speed WiFi ,it did not exist . No WiFi no HBO not a good stay.
June 28th stay. Place completely booked. Everything ok except the room itself. Framing on window not secure, had ants as dining partners on the desk, carpet soaked from window to bed, clogged drain in shower, used towels in bath, guess used when watching TV since it was still on when I entered room. Was not adventurous to stay for cont brkfst.
We we're put on 3rd floor with our dog like they were doing us a favor letting us stay there! They said they are no longer pet friendly! 2 towels for two adults! Old carpeting. Light bulbs burned out. A/c leaked onto carpeting. Key cards did not work-had to go to front desk twice! King bed was comfortable but 4 small pillows-like king pillows cut in half! Breakfast was good! Many improvements needed!
There were not enough staff at the registration desk. This was not the fault of the employee. The one person on staff was required to take care of all problems, etc. and leave the front desk unattended eventhough the hotel was at capacity. All front desk personnel were extremely friendly and professional. The room had ants.

Pleasant place to stop while traveling. Food, accommodations and location easy to find.
