Torn between 3/4 stars... Overall, it was a safe and adequate staff. The area felt safe and easily accessible. The room was old, but clean and well furnished. The fitness center was small, with minimal options (no free weights/dumbbells). The breakfast had waffles (yay) but also minimal other options. The staff were kind and helpful. Would return in a pinch, but the hotel is a bit aged and limited for the cost.

The front lobby staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Nat was going specially welcoming up on my arrival. The breakfast was always hot fresh and variety every morning. I hav a Golden Retriever and I love that the hotel is pet friendly and my therapy dog is relaxed and felt comfortable also. I will stay there again when I make a trip back to Richmond to visit

This property seemed average for just a place to sleep on the way to our destination. My biggest complaint was the aroma of the herbal refreshments. At one point it was so strong my eyes burned. The use of the continuous fan did help a lot.
