Our room was very clean and we had no problems except for none of the ice machines worked. The hotel is right close to the expressway which was convenient. The hotel seemed older but it was very nice and that didn't bother us at all. The staff was nice also. The shower & TV were nice along with the bed & pillows. We had a nice buffet breakfast on one morning but only received a paper bag breakfast the second day. We would stay here again.

FANTASTIC!!!
For context, we live in the area and there are a number of hotels we could have chosen. We had an unexpected issue at our house and needed somewhere to stay for a week while repairs were being made. The first two nights we stayed in a regular room. When it became apparent we would need to stay longer, we moved to a suite. They did a fantastic job converting two adjoining rooms into suites. My husband works from home and gets up much earlier than I do. The suite setup afforded us the luxury of him being able to work in the living room without any disruption to me in the bedroom. That was fantastic. The Village Inn in Clemmons, NC is an older hotel but very well done. It was clean and reasonably priced. The beds were comfortable and the staff is amazing! It was the perfect choice for us and I would recommend it to anyone.

I’m always skeptical staying at new places. Reviews were decent and price was good. I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay if you are looking in the Winston area.

The bed was terrible - it was like sleeping on a slab of rock and the pillows were all large spongy foam. No feather pillow options. I did not sleep well as a result. Minor things like a broken ice machine and the entrance door closest to my room did not work with the card. I was told it might happen so why not get it fixed? And the continental breakfast? A joke. The woman at the front desk handed me a bag and said it was the breakfast. It contained a cheap, wrapped danish-like item, a package of cookies, and a serving of processed peach pieces. I will never return and suggest you don't bother.
