The pictures were deceiving. This hotel is in the back of a dilapidated industrial park. There was trash and debris all over the parking lot and general area. There were people working on /repairing cars in the parking lot. The outside looked so bad, we didn’t even go inside to check in.

The entire hotel had a really bad odor. Like a combination of garbage,cigarettes and B.O.! The windows in the rooms dont open so you dont get any fresh air other than through the a/c. So whatever you cook in your room you will be smelling your entire stay. I stayed for 5 days and made the mistake of pre paying for the discount, otherwise I would have checked out after the first night! Many of the people staying there are long term residents! The place was like an apartment building in the ghetto.

Staff when checking in took too long, don't understand why they required a copy of my drivers license.(why) Room never got cleaned. The room had musty smell.
The hotel and staff were nice except for the 2 young men at the front desk Friday morning 11/11/16. The one who I spoke to was very dismissive. Because of the construction going on, I was given a double room, the bed was too small for us but we made do, the toilet rocked and made a loud noise when you sat on it, but there were no other rooms available I was told. Then to add insult to injury I was charged again, even though I paid online.
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel, being that it's in Jacksonville. The room was nice, the staff was nice. The only thing that would make it better would be free breakfast!
This was extremely disappointing. Bed was like a rock, pillows were more like throw pillows than anything, room smelled bad and was definitely not very clean, AC was iffy at best. Good news is there is a bar directly beside the hotel. Bad news is there is a bar directly beside the hotel. It brought some stragglers around that were not guests nor were they sober which made me question how secure my car was. It was also very loud on the bar side until around closing time. The curtains didn't cover the Windows well at all and the exterior lighting is like the sun. Not a big deal for people who can sleep when it's bright in the room but my wife is not one of those people.... The extended stay just a few miles away is only 8$ more per night but after that experience I would pay an extra $30 if it was the next cheapest place.
