I paid for the stay in advance via Orbitz. Then I game my credit card at check-in for incidentals. At that time they didn't inform me that I would be charged an extra $35 per night resort fee. I didn't find this out until I saw my receipt at checkout. When I complained to the front desk they seemed surprised that I wasn't informed at check-in time, but didn't do anything about the charges.

The property is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and professional. A few items that turn a 5 star rating into a 3 include: room fridge was warm and coils covered in ice so it was unusable. The bedroom safe battery was dead and it needed to be serviced to work. Otherwise, we liked the hotel, the bar area and the room overall.

The hotel looks nice from the outside and in its lobby. But that is where it end. The room doors need to be replace, the bathroom needs to be updated. The hallway all need to be repainted. When we checked in, my partner notices yellow stain around the base of the toilet and quickly released it was pee stain. We wiped the whole bathroom down with clorox wipes. And then when took a shower, my partner notice the towel had black spots all over them. We called the front desk to ask to be moved to another room. The staff is wonderful, they are willing to help and provide us with a small credit for the issues. Overall, I don't see myself staying here again unless they do some major updates and improve their house keeping.
As a gold member, the check-in process was long, and the hotel staffs were very rude. Finally, after 3 hours, they gave me the key to my room, which was someone else's room—a horrible experience.

There was some hair and other evidence of a less-thorough cleaning of our room. The front desk staff was kind and answered all our requests quickly. Overall our room was nice, if a bit small. The pool was nice but also smaller than expected from the size of the hotel. Would return!

First room checked smelling smoking. Second room not properly clean (hair and insect in the bathroom). Old towels. Damaged furniture. Small bathroom, dark room. No bottle of water. Very disappointing 4 star.
They have no records that I have a booking with Orbitz. It took 2 hours to sort the issue talking with Orbitz and Hilton front desk. At one point they were saying we can book you directly and get refund from Orbitz. You better sort these issues before I keep booking in your site for future.
