Hotel was will maintained with a very friendly staff. The indoor pool was perfect and made our stay very fun! The downstairs restaurant has enjoyable options for breakfast and dinner with a friendly wait staff.

The staff is always courteous and professional. The facility is showing its age however. Worn carpeting, dated room furnishings, old drapes. All of which would be okay if the room charge wasn't over $170/night.

Promised me a shuttle to take to the airport, at 9 am I was told there’s no shuttle available.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and maintained so well. The staff, Daisy in particular, was there to be extremely friendly and welcoming to me. I had such a nice weekend and loved every time I returned to the hotel after an adventure in the city. Nice distance from plenty of great attractions, and very quiet and peaceful.
The hotel stay was good but apparently the top levels were being cleaned and hence I had a terraced floor room which was nice. This hotel has a terrace floor (right slightly below ground level, though with windows) which in 5 degree weather gets a bit cold and this rooms face the highway 490 Exit Ramp so if you are sensitive to noise then it can be an issue. I had a King size bed. With this in mind and some other factors, I mentioned to the staff and they were more than happy to change the room. I was quite busy for work so did not have time and then they comped me a full breakfast for the following morning. I had to leave by 620AM for the airport and double confirmed that breakfast will be served at 6AM. The lady told me that yes and suggested they even sometimes start a little earlier. Because of a long flight ahead, I got up 30 minutes earlier and found out that breakfast is at 630AM. Little details, the staff should be aware of especially when one double confirms. Overall hotel is a nice experience quick in and out and fairly comfortable. Think twice about a terrace level in the winter - you have to keep the heater running and have slippers for the very cold bathroom floor.
My family and I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Pittsford while we were there attending a wedding. It was the perfect location for us--an easy drive from the ROC airport, easy access to freeways and close to shopping and dining. The rooms were somewhat small but equipped with everything we needed. We reserved a double queen room and found the beds to be comfortable. The room came equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, a microwave and a mini-fridge. The bathroom was updated with granite counters and were clean. My only complaint is that the bathroom did not have a fan, so after taking a hot shower, the room became really steamy, and every surface was covered with condensation. This made it hard to to get ready after the shower. I would have opened the door to air out the bathroom while I was getting dressed if it weren't for the fact that my son was in the next room. The free self-serve coffee and tea bar in the lobby was a nice feature. It came stocked with an assortment of teas, ice cold fruit-infused water, and regular and decaf coffees. The cookies in the afternoon were yummy. We ate breakfast in the restaurant once and had a good meal. My over-medium eggs were cooked perfectly and the buffet featuring fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, sweet rolls, bagels, breads and muffins was ample. We got there at 9:00 am and by that time the fresh berries were gone even though the buffet stays open until 10:00 am. That would be my one minor complaint about the buffet. We did not use the indoor pool during our stay but many guests did and it looked nice. The staff was very friendly and professional. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.
