This Hotel is too old and the room is extremely small. Need to pay Parking fee $37 with discount!

The building is old, and the carpet is old and dirty. They don't clean the room every day, you receive the room, not water, no small refrigerator with snacks, and the keys never work. I think the staff does the best with the tools they have. Definitely the hotel need an upgrade.

The property was clean & the room was very nice and in a great area of town. The staff were very friendly, and knowledgeable ! I highly recommend the Alexander Inn for your next stay in Philadelphia.

I took my kids to Philly for the day before flying out. Walkable to many places and food. We loved and so did the kids. no complaints. Read reviews of this and other hotels and would hands down recommend this place. We will stay here if we come back.

I booked a three night stay through Orbitz. After my first night 01/18/2023, I informed front desk I would only be staying 2 nights and canceled third night. Refund of the third night I paid for but did not use has not been reimbursed as of today, 03/11/2023.

Very nice property. Close to LGBTQ bars. Very friendly staff

Located in a quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from Independence Hall, and an easy walk to the City Center, we were impressed by the facility itself and the very accommodating staff.

Absolutely love the vintage building, the staff was delightful and our room was very well appointed. Like many vintage hotels, the standard rooms tend to be a little small, but they pack a lot in for the space. The bathroom was immaculate and the bed exceeding the comfortable. It was a great place to lay our head for the night we were there and will definitely be staying there again when we return. One of our favorite features of this hotel is that it is directly on the edge of the gay neighborhood in Philadelphia. For us this wasn't unexpected bonus.

The Alexander Inn is a quaint historic building; there is an interesting information sheet available that gives the history of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, which enhanced the experience.

This was our first stay here. We come to Philly a few times a year for theater subscription, and it always seemed like a cozy place to stay. We had previously stayed at a more corporate hotel a block away and were satisfied. Tried Alexander Inn, it was less expensive, and we weren’t disappointed at all. Although less spacious lobby, it certainly had more homey charm, if home were a 19th century mansion! Beautiful wood carved walls and fireplace. Registration desk was rather stark, but the individuals who were there (only one at a time) were GREAT! They couldn’t have been more warm, inviting, friendly and supportive. I’ve never gotten better attitude or service at any front desk. They were just real people committed to helping make our stay the best it could be, and it showed! The room was small, clean, bed was comfortable, and most of the essentials were there. Noticeably missing was a towel rack in the bathroom, but that was not enough to discourage our next stay at this property. Highly recommend

It was cozy and the staff were nice. There was no fridge, we had to go downstairs for ice

Great staff, fun property, beautiful view. Location was perfect for us, lots to do and see in walking distance. Good coffee and croissants in the am.
