Impeccable service and amenities to ensure a relaxing stay
Restaurant was ridiculously cold. The food was medicre and overpriced. The artwork on the walls of the restaurant was covered in dust and cobwebs. Overhead lights in lobby were missing their escutcheons. Not trying to be overly critical... but I would expect a bit more attention to detail from a 5 star hotel.
Everything about our visit was top notch. The staff is professional top to bottom. We tried to book an extra night but it was very pricey!
I decided to go to game 4 of the 2017 World Series at the last minute. Of course all of the hotels within walking distance of Minute Maid Park were sold out. So I got on Orbitz and requested a room in the best hotel in Houston. The St Regis filled both those requirements.

Great location, convenient to several shopping areas, especially the Galleria. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast was pricey, but to be expected. One complaint, we stopped into the bar for drinks on Saturday evening. The entire bar top and most tables were covered with empty bottles and glasses the entire time we were there. It made the place feel dirty. I understand they were busy, but there was staff standing around instead of cleaning up. Just not what I would expect from a St. Regis. On a positive note, the band was fun and everyone was dancing having a great and time.
Being in Houston for a wedding was the purpose of our trip. The hospitality at St. Regis was extraordinary. Absolutely lovely - a perfect getaway.
This hotel looks and feels 5 star. It is quiet, peaceful, luxurious, well decorated and tastefully designed. The staff was courteous and helpful, the food was good. The spa was small but adequate and had a well trained staff
Was there on business trip, so in fairness I didn't get to spend all that much time at hotel. However, staff was extremely personable and I enjoyed the bar/restaurant located in the hotel. I also thought the room was nicely decorated, comfortable, and really liked the bed (hotel beds not always so great).
The staff was extremely pleasant. The location is a short distance from Westheimer. Massage services where a little pricey but worth the convenience of having it done in the hotel.
