This stay was booked during the winter storm power outage in Houston, TX because we lost power, like many others. And like many others, we attempted to book a hotel room because parts of Houston still had power. After booking and arriving, we discovered the property was abandoned, there were vagrants loitering around the hotel and a paper sign on the door read "no electricity." There was no attempt by the hotel or Orbitz to inform customers of the hotel's operating status.

This place has bed bugs and they are bad and they eat your skin all night.

Coffee horrible and staff gives average attention to guests requests

Clean room. Not a great hotel, bad smell, probably drug activity, etc. This area of Houston is not the greatest, but we travel with pets, so that makes Red Roof our best bet and that said, we managed for a night.

I enjoyed the fact the staff is always so courteous to accommodate my needs or questions

Nothing in particular was exciting to me about this property

When I arrived to check in about 1230pm I was told by the receptionist I couldn’t check in until 3pm. When I showed up at 3pm I was told I had to wait because they were in the process of shift change and other people were ahead of me also. So I sat in lobby for another 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. When I got to my room the TV did not work. I called front desk and was told I had to reach behind the TV and unplug it and replug it in. That was very, very difficult for anyone, but I am also disable, once I did it worked. Also the comforter had holes in it and smelled of industrial cleaning supplies. The mattress was way to soft and you could feel the bed frame through the mattress. The hotel overall seemed clean and most other staff were very friendly. Check out was easy and staff was very nice.

Havent stayed at this hotel . My account info was stolen

Always nice to me here manager is prompt to take care of any issues

Horrible hotel I wish I could go somewhere else hair in the shower long blonde hair left in the bed sheets very limited on towels shady people standing around outside looking like bad elements I’m very disappointed in my stay with this red roof inn

Bryan has great customer service. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating.
