Our Holiday Inn Express stay was very nice. It was clean, cool, convenient and the staff was friendly. Definitely would stay there again.

I checked my daughter in on Saturday, Dec. 23, to find out that they did not have a handicapped room with walk-in shower on the first floor, even after I requested it when I ordered the room on Orbitz, as well as called directly to Holiday Inn Express in Conroe, TX to ensure a handicapped room was available. I stressed the importance of a first floor since my daughter has MS, walks with a walker and cane cannot walk far, and needs a bathroom with walk-in shower and bars for shower and toilet. They assured me that they would have a room for her. I got a room alright but not handicap on the first floor. All handicap rooms were taken on 2nd floor so the only ones available were on 3rd floor. It did not have a walk-in shower but it did have a low shower tub with bars. The first two shower chairs were damaged and unusable. But the Holiday Inn Express staff had a new chair installed the next day for her. All in all it turned out just fine. The staff was wonderful, cheery and so helpful for my daughter.
I'm an apartment manager in Houston and I was very impressed with this Holiday Inn. After having a nightmare experience at the Conroe Econolodge, I moved to this hotel and the staff was friendly, pool was great with fresh towels at the desk, and the room was immaculate and also loaded with plenty of towels. I needed to extend my stay by 30 minutes and the staff was nice about it. Highly Recommend!

The staff were excellent, very friendy and always willing to assist. The rooms are very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.
The room was neat, clean, and well done; however, the check-in was slow, and, after lugging my bags all the way to my room, the keys did not work. I then had to go back with everything in tow to have them redone. The internet never connected, even with the password I was given. Finally, the wake-up call I requested never came. Thankfully, I have jetlag and was awake.
We were staying for a weekend to see the in-laws and the kids were staying with grandma and grandpa while we got a smaller room for just my husband and myself. There was an emergency and the kids had to come to the hotel. We called and asked to upgrade to a larger room and were refused the larger room unless we paid full price and no refund on the current room! The staff was rude, made rude comments as they thought I had walked off! This place is a joke and I will NEVER stay at this chain again and this booking site will be the last place I will go for booking!!
