Staybridge Suites West Seneca, an IHG Hotel

The property was ok need a little updating but overall a nice stay

I called the hotel before our one-night stay to make sure the pool was open for my children. They told me yes, it was open. That’s all they said. It wasn’t until we had already gotten there, checked-in, and signed paperwork, that they said we needed to make a reservation for the pool area. Then when I asked about making a “pool reservation” for the ONE night we stayed, they said they were full for the night. They suggested we make a reservation the next morning to go swim. We took a walk passed the pool after we checked in around 3:50pm, and no one was in there. When we turned on the heat in our room because it was a little chilly, it smelled like burnt hair. We called down to the front desk to say that it smelled, and they suggested to turn it off.. After sleeping, we woke up, went to the front desk at 8am to make a “pool reservation,” and they said they were full until 1pm. Check out was at 12pm. Now how was I supposed to enjoy the pool with my children? I was completely dissatisfied with the customer service, and their dishonesty in not disclosing information about “pool reservations.” The woman at the front desk was rude. I will not be returning to the Staybridge Suites. Awful night with upset children.

Good location

I like the set up of the room...felt like a little apartment which my son liked a lot. I wish the pool was a bit warmer as that is the whole reason we came here, so my son could swim on his birthday.

Beds were comfortable and staff was very nice but the hotel itself needs a major improvement. Weak water pressure, stained furniture, curtains were discolored

The staff was very helpful and kind but when I got there I was under the impression that I would be able to sign up for a time for my kids to swim and was told the first available time was Sunday for my size of party. This was on Friday when I arrived. We also had no blanks for the pullout my son slept on just sheets.

Very nice very clean hotel, staff was very nice we really enjoyed our stay and will do it again at the same location.

The first room had odor coming out of the heater and the room smelled of cigarette smoke. The next room the shower head was broke in such a way that it could not be hung up, it had to be held and the water was so hot you either would get burnt or you took a cold shower. When we complained we were told that they are trying to regulate the water temperature and would fix the shower head. Neither happened.

I am a big fan of Staybridge Suites. This one was very clean, and the room was aesthetically appealing, as always.I really only have 3 complaints. Initially the toilet in the second bathroom was clogged (but nothing could be seen that was clogging it) and the hand held shower nozzle in the same bathroom could not be affixed to the wall because the clasp was broken. We brought both bathroom issues up to the hotel staff, and they promptly and politely fixed them. The other complaint was that the lobby and the floor our room was on continuously smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. We did NOT bring this to attention of staff, though. It was not so much an issue that it affected the air in our particular room. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay, the staff was polite and helpful, and we will definitely stay at Staybridge Suites again.

Over all the place was nice. Big rooms, lobby/store/dining area was very nice. Good friendly people working there. Did not like the small bathroom and the window blinds did not cover the window fully. Light comes in in the morning, shining right on the bed. Our room looked like it had 5 years worth of dust on everything. When you walked around the room dust was flying everywhere. Be aware of the pool. Paint was peeling on the floor and was tracked back to our room. Ask when the last time the hot tub was cleaned, just saying.

Good service and exelent for family. Breakfast and dinner was really nice. In my stay they had dinner buffet monday-thursday

Very nice place, clean, well stocked, great greeters.

We reserved a 2 bed/2bath non-smoking room and were put in a smoking room. We were then moved to a 1bed1bath room. I have asked front desk staff and emailed the manager with the contact info that they gave me and they have not credited my account or even responded

Power trouble resulting in lighting and air conditioning outages

I chose this hotel because it was near the places where I had business. I couldn't be more pleased. It's a very clean and beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I recommend this place to everyone

Never stayed at Staybridge or heard of this hotel before booking online. For the price we thought it was amazing!!! Spacious room with all of the amenities. Full kitchen, separate bedroom, and pull out bed from couch. Pool and spa were clean. Nice little workout room. Free laundry. I have had many included breakfasts at hotels and this was one of the the better ones. Women tending it were so nice and accommodating, making sure it was full and fresh. The icing on the cake was the wonderful desk attendant that let us use her phone charger because we forgot ours. When she found out it was my wife's birthday gave us a five dollar voucher to the food pantry in the lobby. If we stayed longer we would have taken advantage of the mini movie theater with free popcorn.
