This is such a fun place to stay! Great location, lots of music and really awesome staff! We enjoyed margarita hour, live music and pools parties during our stay!

Everything was excellent

4-star rating for a 3-star experience. The Hotel looks very good in the lobby area, but there are several items that need to be improved. Here is a list of items that I found during my stay: 1.- Starting with the elevator: the button panel needs to be fixed in one of the elevators. 2.- The room's A/C needs general maintenance; when we first arrived at our room it smelled like a dirty humid room. When the A/C has not been cleaned for a while. 3.- The bed mattress needs to be replaced, I had better mattresses on a Courtyard. 4.- The toilet seat needed replacement it was old and damaged. And there are amenities that are more of a motel type of level. The rooms are not built to have a quiet nite stay, you could hear the cars passing by all night (thankfully the road was not very busy during our stay). We could hear our neighbors cough! And we had the staff visit our room because the guests in the lower level were complaining about the noise. Our kids were playing around the room and that could be heard in the room downstairs! My kids were not screaming, they were just moving from one side of the room to the other. And finally, the waiting staff needs to be trained, in our fist breakfast we had to wait 40 minutes for our continental breakfast to arrive... YES!!!! 40 minutes for a small bowl of fruit, yogurt, raw granola, and one pre-made pastry. Also, do not be fooled by the "Free Breakfast amenity"; there are only 2 free continental breakfasts per room.

Words cannot express the amazing experience we had at the terranea resort and spa . From beginning to end , we had a spectacular time !!!! We were celebrating our 20 wedding anniversary and their attention to detail was exquisite . Our concierge handled all our dinner reservations and we had such an extraordinary time. The views , our upgrade to the casita ! The service , the spa and all Our fabulous dinners were unlike no other . Staff was super happy and serviceable. Everyone was attentive and knowledgeable. Cenebio from the Mar’sel restaurant was amazing . It was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had . He was so great and made us feel so special He even took a picture of us having dinner overlooking the ocean and gave it to us in a beautiful card . It was one of the most memorable dining experiences of our 20 years of marriage together. Corey from Bashi was so sweet and attentive. He also made our celebration so special . Nelson’s was also great for lunch. All the chefs we had the pleasure of dining from were 5 stars . The details in everything were incredible The turn down service , the spa masseuses. AMAZING The spa itself is the main character in this picture . It truly felt like you were part of movie set . It was simply extraordinary . The views from everywhere were unbelievable. I cannot rave enough about how beautiful it all was . The hiking trials never disappoint. If you need some respite or some time off to disengage. This is the place!

Came with my elderly mother and daughter and we got upgraded to an ocean room after I called multiple times letting them know we couldn't get one and my mom might not see the ocean many times more. The rooms were clean and fresh, the staff was great and the Balleen was incredible for dinner and breakfast.

The hotel was perfect for our family with spacious room and great view. We hopped on the rail down to the central market for dinner that was right next to the hotel. Staff was friendly and welcoming even to our kids. We will be back again.

All staff are friendly and accommodating. They know what you need before you ask them.
