A gem of a small hotel on a fantastic street with loads of charming restaurants and cafes. Great location in the 6th Arrondissement right around the corner from Bon Marche, and easy to walk to major sites. Lovely back terrace and nice spa in basement.

I was very happy with my recent stay at this hotel. I chose it because it was in walking distance (for me) to many of the things I wanted to see - the Louvre, the Orsay, the Palais Garnier, etc. It was literally across the street from the Opera Comique. Staff was very helpful and courteous, the bed was very comfortable, etc. I probably had one of the smallest rooms in the hotel, but that was OK as I mostly use the hotel as a place to sleep. A little quirky too in terms of layout, but that isn't surprising for a hotel originally built in the 1820s. Great, GREAT shower. I do wish the room had a lounge chair, but it was really too small for that plus the beds, desk, armoires (one for clothes, one for safe, mini bar, etc.). I would happily stay here again. BTW, you can get bigger rooms for more money if you want at the same hotel. But again, I didn't go to Paris to stay in the hotel!

Pricey but you get what you pay for. The menu didn't do it for me but it was the end of our trip and I think I was just craving some US food. Anyway it was great place and I wish I stayed longer.

Loved it. Really quiet, friendly, well-located in every direction. Stayed in Room 6 with the extra half bath. Would stay again.

Very good location. Especially for shopping. The room is a bit small but the decor ts very tastefully done.
The only drawback is that taxis are not allow to enter the street where the hotel is located due to security reason (the hotel is located near the US Embassy).

Beautiful hotel the beds though yikes my back is still killing me. Id think for such a nice place they would have decent mattresses. Ive slept at motels with higher quality bedding. Everything else though was very niceand the staff was amazing

Loved everything about the Artus Hotel. All the front desk staff were extremely pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is in an AMAZING location near many sites and restaurants. One would expect it to be too loud as a result of it's location but on the contrary, we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was in the room.
The room was petite but suited us perfectly. We needed 2 twin beds and a nice private bathroom. Room had that, plus room for luggage, storage, a fridge (although not sure if it's always powered or just when you're in the room), nice amenities in the bathroom and a fantastic shower! Also my friend required a room with A/C (it was in the 90s when we were there) and the room A/C worked really well.
We did not have breakfast included with our reservation so I cannot comment on that.
Can't say enough nice things about the Artus. Will definitely come stay here again.
