Fantastic boutique property overlooking the Liffey River. Conveniently located - a short walk to Dublin's city center, tram lines, train stations, and restaurants. The rooms were spacious, well maintained, and super comfortable (some had amazing views of the river and city) and the breakfast buffet had plenty of options to suit needs. The staff were fantastic - friendly, responsive, and helpful. This is a hotel I would return to again and again.

Room was very cold, heat was controlled by the hotel. Asked for more heat from the front desk but it took a full day to have heat and then the room was too hot
Checkout was horrible, I wanted to pay cash to clear my account but I could not wait the 30 minutes it was going to take

Ariel House is a gorgeous historic space with an amazing staff, great location, and out-of-this-world breakfast (seriously, how is it possible for hollandaise sauce to be EVEN better than I've ever had?) We were pleased to find that there were many walkable bars, restaurants, and shops, as well as a ~5-minutes walk to the train and bus stops. Ballsbridge was a very quiet place to spend our first two nights of our honeymoon, and Ariel House was an excellent choice.
