Check-in staff was pleasant. Saturday morning breakfast gal was very friendly. The breakfast gal Sunday morning appeared irritated that so many people were waiting for breakfast to start. It’s inconvenient that breakfast didn’t start until 0700 as we had an event to be at by 7. But the breakfast had a lot of options, although the same hot meal option each day. Friday night there was an over powering marijuana smell in the lobby as well as seeping though the vent of the room. It’s not a pleasing smell and I had a child with me. Other than that, the room was clean, comfortable and we felt safe.

Drury bends over backwards to accommodate guests, with its great breakfast and even food and drink in the evening. We will be picking Drury more often during our Saint Louis stays.

Cold in room

We arrived during the first cold spell of the season with St Louis temperatures in the 30s and the heat in our room did not work. The Thanksgiving holiday complicated efforts to get the system looked at and eventually we had to be moved to a different room after three cold nights. Our deluxe room did not have a comforter nor blanket, which made the chilly nights even more difficult. Staff was very apologetic and comped us one night.
