This is a classy, well-kept hotel in one of the best areas of New York. The best part of the hotel is its location. Tribeca is nicer and quieter than Mid-town, and the area is so walkable. It is so easy to walk to Little Italy for dinner, or down to the Trade Center and Financial District. Subway stations are close if you want to travel further. There is a huge selection of bars and restaurants in the area, all very walkable. As for the hotel, it is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and prompt. There is a nice fitness center, and while the jazz can get a little loud there is a noise cancelling system in the rooms. Also, the parking garage is 3 blocks away, and with discounted parking its only $35 a night, not bad by Manhattan standards. This is my second stay at this hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Whether you want to stay in and enjoy the entertainment at the Roxy, or venture out a little bit, you can't lose here. The only disappointment I had was the resort fees tacked on to my bill at the end. New York is expensive enough already.

Great location, excellent service, really fun vibe and good food / cocktails in the bar. The rooms could be quite noisy because of the layout of the hotel (all the rooms surround an inner, triangular atrium above the bar), and the air con units were very loud, but overall I would recommend this hotel.

Large rooms for a NYC hotel. Very cool interior design and layout. Staff are very pleasant and polite. Not always the fastest dining service. Roger the doorman was a breath of fresh air. I would stay here again

Paid $1,000 for a suite. Door man extremely rude. Yelling at other guests. Surprised this is a 5 star property. 3 at best. Looks run down. Service at bar was fine. Front desk was abrupt and not friendly or welcoming. Guest check in was an awful non friendly experience.
