A nice place to stay near the airport. Indoor pool is not very warm, but the sauna was. Friendly and helpful staff and food was good from room service. No real complaints, would stay here again!

Most NYC Hotels are too much $ or not safe! The Laguardia Plaza Hotel is neither. I doctor at Sloan-Kettering it is worth the cab ride. If you are using LaGuardia Airport use this hotel! Free shuttle and the people are great.

First of all, we had booked & paid for early check in & late check out time on Expedia. When we arrived, we were told that there was no possible way that we had early checkin because you have to pay cash to the hotel directly for that. Then the hotel was under construction, so the breakfast restaurant was closed the entire stay and we had someone in the hotel room above us doing LOUD construction remodeling that whole stay. All we heard was BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG the whole time. We called the front desk & was informed that they had nothing else available for us and that we would have to just deal with it. The charging outlets in the room didn’t work, so good thing we brought our own adapters!! We are 420 friendly people and called the front desk to see where the outdoor smoking area was & the lady told us there WASNT ONE. The whole time we were there for the first two days, everything was done from the side entrance (our drivers had the worst time trying to track us down for outings).. so we were unaware that the smoking area was RIGHT outside the front doors. Why the lady who WORKS THERE didn’t know that is beyond me! The heated pool is NOT warm at all. We had also reserved in advance a room with a walk-in shower because one of us was disabled (confirmed 3 times with them before our arrival) .. and there was not a single room like that available for our stay. I will say one thing … NEVER GOING BACK! Save your money people!

Rooms were clean and comfortable. There were issues with table electrical outlets that did not work properly. Restaurant and bar area was short staffed and food service was a bit too long. The present staff were pleasant though and tried to please customers.

Great stay with plenty of amenities!
The room was spacious and clean! You can text the hotel staff with needs or questions, it was very convenient and the staff are incredibly responsive. There’s also a convenient self-serve mini mart with self check-out if you need to grab any food, snacks, refreshments, etc. Their fitness center is well equipped, clean, and well-maintained. I used the treadmill and it was one of the newer models! There are two restaurants if you’d prefer to dine at the hotel instead of venturing out. I used their complimentary airport shuttle service for a smooth transport from the airport. Overall, it was a great stay. Would stay again next time I’m in the area!

The room was clean and pretty. They had nice options for water and coffee, but all were only available for purchase. There’s no complimentary breakfast, which I was surprised by. When you buy food from room service, it is only a little better than average and it’s very overpriced. I spent $32 on an unsweetened (though it was meant to be sweetened) bowl of oatmeal, scrambled eggs, and a glass of milk. They were considerate in leaving condiments (though still no sweetener). Overall the experience wasn’t bad and the shuttle was convenient.
