The room was hot, we called the front desk they sent someone up twice. He disconnected the heat, and said it will cool off. I asked why the fan was not working he check again and the. Said someone would call us. No one called. I called back hours later and the person at the front desk told me that the ac was shut off for the whole building due to the time of year. I then asked why the fan was not working, he said idk and asked if we wanted a floor fan. I asked for a different room which was not available. We were there for four more days and no one ever came back to look at it or asked how we were doing. Just poor customer service. The location was good. Being close to everything around Times Square and broadway was amazing.

This property is in desperate need of a remodel. I felt like I was walking into a motel room, not a 4 star hotel in Times Square. The heat in my room didn’t work and I froze the first night. The manager talked over me, raised his voice and was very unapologetic. I needed a taxi for my flight and the doorman was nowhere to be found. I was sent to the concierge, who sent me to the bell man who told me he couldn’t help me. Read the reviews, not just mine. I wish I had!

I guess it’s all about location. For the price we paid, the rooms are so basic compared to other places I’ve stayed. The lobby gave grand, but the rooms are in need of serious renovation. We had the deluxe king room with the city view, but no city view. Outdated TV so we couldn’t mirror the soccer game or watch anything besides regular tv. They also don’t have anywhere to park your cars so you have to pay to park your car at a parking structure (if they are open) or find park blocks away from the hotel. Overall, my experience was ok, but I would love to see what else there is New York has to offer on my next travel.

The facility was nice, however the water temp was horrible. We took cold showers 4 out of the 5 days. When brought to guest services attention was told it happens. For as much monies paid seems as though that would not be the response. Also a little refreshment station of coffee and water would be a nice touch to offer guest.

The hotel was very overpriced, but it was okay. The staff were very friendly, checked us in quickly, and then asked us if we needed car service upon leaving. I thought that was thoughtful. The facility is secure with elevators that require a room key. Overall the room was clean, but outdated for the price.

Location is convenient to Times Square. The rooms are very outdated. Our room had mold in the bathroom and the tub did not drain when you ran the shower. Our heat stayed on “sauna” no matter how low we set it so we had to sleep with the windows propped open just to be moderately comfortable. For $400/night I expect clean rooms with working A/C and plumbing. We will not be returning.
