This hotel is one of the worst so far , loud noises from people walking by or in the lobby talking loud and drinking like in the ghetto, breakfast is disgusting like they are feeding convicts, and super crowded and only few tables and chairs plus room is super small and constructions on site pounding in your ears constantly since 8 am in the morning all the way to the rest of the day , guests next doors slamming doors nonstop, shower is terrible, not recommended at all unless you want to ruin your vacation then stay here.

Clean hotel. Rooms are small but clean. Good location. Close to restaurant row. 15-20 min walk to Rockefeller/ Radio City/ Times Square. Very close to the theater district. Nearest subway on 50th street. The only complaint I have is the breakfast situation. Very small area to eat and lots of people the entire time during breakfast hours. We went at 6:30 when breakfast opened and barely managed to find a table. A few minutes later the place was already very crowded. By the third day we decided that breakfast at the hotel was not worth it, so we went down the street to one of the diners on 9th.

Expect the long elevator waiting time and construction noise (during my visit). Everything else was decent. Breakfast is a challenge due to small area. But the staff were very responsive and helpful. 👍

Overall served its purpose. Nothing fancy and would have liked more bathroom counter space. Also very dim lighting throughout the room. Location was great as it is walking distance to many attractions. Wifi was terrible I was not really able to use it. Also the woman who checked us in was very unfriendly and rude when we showed up early to drop off our luggage and then came back to get it. Basically left us alone to do it ourselves and was rushing us. Breakfast was busy but had no issues getting a table to sit.

OK - But serious ventilation issues.

Good and Bad. Location ok. Room clean and comfortable. BUT, the hotel has an (unresolved) serious problem with ventilation: every morning I was woken with the smell of breakfast cooking at 6.30 am in a room on the 9th floor (in fact the whole of the 9th floor stank of sausages and bacon - even thought the kitchen is on the G/1st level). Complained a couple of times - but told that waking to breakfast smells is a good thing!!!
