Great location, nice stay. The room was clean and came w a kitchenette which was great. For the price, you can’t beat it. Would definitely stay again

Towels and linens need updating, they were clean but grey not white. Very old. front room seemed uneven when walking. Right on street and Jenette’s pier seemed to be a hot spot for loud cars of teenage boys with loud tires and mufflers all night. Owners were nice but did not seem them much. Bathroom is tiny.

Great location for a weekend of pier fishing and beach with two teens. The on-duty staff member was excellent. Very attentive and pleasant. The rooms are pretty bad. Typical beach but more could be done on the cleaning front.

Booked last second to escape terrible weather camping on Hatteras. Room was spotless, she’s an old girl but she’s been loved and the hotel met our needs. In nice weather the beach is literally across the street, but Mother Nature didn’t cooperate.

It was close to everything!

Overall, the property was great for what I needed, which was just a clean, safe place to stay. It wasn’t absolutely perfect in all senses, but I was happy with it. My only complaint, and it’s not even really a complaint, not a fan of the coffee provided in the room.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was mostly adequate size and clean, though the shower stall was a little small for this rather large body. Great area near the beach. It was opposite the road from the beach but still had a view of the beach from my 3rd floor room. I could even see the red flags on these windy days so I knew not to put on my bathing suit :-). One toilet seat hinge was broken and the screen in the window was torn. Overall, as is the case with a lot of older properties, cosmetically it was so-so. Lots of areas need painting, repair of wall dings, etc.

Quaint cottage-style hotel located directly across from Jeanette’s Pier. Room was clean and equipped with a mini kitchenette that was stocked with cookware and basic kitchen utensils. Convenient location! We would book again for a short stay.

Overall this is a great property for what it is, its a motel. Its location couldn't be any better, right across from the beach at Jennettes pier. The room was clean and linens were fine, everything worked in the room as well. We stayed here for a quick getaway the week of the 4th, two nights for less than $300 is something youd be hard pressed to find anywhere on the beach. I would stay here again if I was in the same need.

Love the location, staff was informative and professional. Excellent value for the stay! Bed could have been a bit soft!

The location was good for going to Jeanette’s Pier. It could use some updating but was clean and friendly!

I liked that the hotel is close to the beach and the staff was friendy. However, my room had a very strong mold/mildew smell. I think the carpet needs to be pulled up. The mattresses could use an upgrade as well. I will say the room looked clean though. Also, I didn't see any crawling critters. I would return for a one night stay due to the hotel having convenient access to the beach.

Overall it was a nice place to stay for the value.

Good location. The staff was friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions.

The room was listed as having bed & fold out couch (it did not fold out flat & we had to ask where the sheets were kept)
