Beautiful Hotel, our stay was really nice, one problem we had was the check-in. We were suppose to check-in a 3pm which was great, problem was the rooms were not ready until 4:45pm, our room was not very clean the room had bloody snot on the wall and the bath shower in closure had hair stuck on the wall. I had three rooms and only one was bad but still for the price it should of been clean

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a great option for our family and our kids really enjoyed themselves. We loved the walkability to the Harvey House and the historic feel of the area. 10/10 would recommend.

Pictures outdated, not comfortable or clean.

Photos are not accurate. Hotel is worn down, our room was dirty, stains on the comforter, hair in the bed and bathroom, cracks on the walls and around a/c, you could feel the springs in the bed, never dusted, you could tell from the phone, remote & table. The pool was dirty and not heated as they indicated. It was our anniversary and I didn't want to complain, I really just wanted to go home. The only good thing I can say was the long island's from the hotel pub were good.

Not recommended

I cannot recommend this hotel for a family trip. Upon entering our room, it was evident that cleanliness was a major issue. There was a thick layer of dust throughout, including on the lamp and TV, and we found hairs on the pillow and inside the sheets. When I contacted the front desk, they offered to switch our room, but unfortunately, the new room was in equally unacceptable condition. I even spotted a pillow with blood stains while confirming details with the staff before moving our luggages. When I raised the issue of the blood-stained pillow, the staff handed it back to me and instructed me to leave it in the first room. This was completely inappropriate; it should have been their responsibility to remove it, and also not to put it back in the room. Throughout the night, the noise was unbearable. I was awakened by train horns 2-3 times and had to endure loud shouting and door slamming in the hallways. To make matters worse, the next morning at 10:20 AM, housekeeping knocked on our door while we were still in bed, despite check-out being at 11 AM. This felt like undue pressure to vacate. During check-out, the front desk clerk remarked that I was lucky housekeeping hadn’t knocked on my door at 8 AM because they had the right to do so. After a long day of driving, I expected a restful night, and this hotel failed to deliver on that front.

Polar express parking

Stayed an extra night after polar express train ride, the lady at the front office was extremely helpful and nice made my switch over from one reservation to another super easy, if more employees were like her this place would crush it. Rooms are OK, ours was really clean but just a little dated, only downfall to this place and it was a huge one for us, was finding parking place was literally jammed packed i know it was due to the polar express event but they really need to do something about that cuz it was super ridiculous

The room was fine. We didn’t get to check out the hotel as we only stayed one night. It was convenient for the Polar Express. The line to check in was long, eventhough we had checked in online prior to arriving. There was no designated line to pick up keys- so checking in online didn't save us any time. Staff weren't rude but I didn't feel particularly welcome. It was expensive with no wow factor. The convenience to restaurants and shopping were great. Coffee and water in the lobby were a nice touch. I would stay again but will look for better prices in the area.
