No hot water and the toilet runs and doesn't flush well. Have two little beds I didn't realize I'd be across the street for the price I paid. I'm ground floor looking at the parking lot. Waited forever to check in even though I already had reservations. Tried to use my free drink for Jamesons but only could get house drinks like rum punch. Not happy. I paid $346 for this room. Outlet covers missing from walls.

Overall an average hotel. The carpet in our room was really dirty. I’m guessing they rarely vacuum Woman at Front desk deemed a coworkers conversation about personal issues more important than checking us in. We waited a few minutes for that conversation to finally end. Location was good.

Lovely and close to the beach, easy walk into Fort Lauderdale to restaurants, etc... Nearby street vendors have an excellent array of dishes and the atmosphere on Saturday night was like a party. The resort employees are friendly and welcoming. And that DoubleTree welcome cookie is delish! The fittings in the room we had in the Marina building were a little tired (ie the bathtub should probably be replaced) but the beds were comfy and the room was clean. Definitely would stay here again.
