Excellent resort with a ton of great options for adults and families. Food selection was top notch and the service is incredible. Everyone at the property was exceptional, from Norberto at breakfast, to Francisco around the property and so many waiters at every location that are willing to help out and make your stay special. Excellence properties at their finest.

I stayed at the Excellence couple years back and thought it would be the same experience but I stand corrected. FINEST did not meet 5star expectations. Both evevators were down the whole stay of my travel and we had our stroller to use with us so we had to carry our 2 year old up and down each time along with our stroller. They gave us a room where they were doing construction right under so it was banging, nailing, and drilling from 9-6pm. They never even informed us of this or offered to switch us rooms when i voiced my concerns. The hostesses at the buffet and restaurants were very rude and i even had one lady roll her eyes at me bc we needed highchairs. The waiters were aggressive and demanded to know why we had left overs... we never OVER ordered but some of the food dishes were horrible. A lot of restaurants were closed during the week so basically we just ate at their buffet the whole time. The check in lady was a trainee named Rosi who clearly did not want to be working.. did not explain to us anything when we checked in.. or how to get to our rooms. She was very unprofessional and needs to get better prepared for her job. No hello no smiles no thank yous. This is one of the more expensive resorts and I did not feel like I was treated with great hospitality. This hotel experience was very mediocre at best. Highly disappointed this trip.

We really enjoyed staying here. The food was good, the beach was good. Darmin served us drinks on the beach and was knowledgeable and kind, he even introduced us with a new drink. We loved all the dining options, this was our 4th time in Cancun and they had the best food overall, breakfast buffet was the same thing everyday though but they have all the options anyways. The beach is very clean and flat, the waves are not too big and not too small. The pools are very clean and the grounds, landscaping etc was beautiful and well kept. Pools were a little lacking, they say some 12 pools available but really there are like 2 main pools areas. No problem for us though, we spent time in both the pools and beach area, especially the beach. We played beach volleyball every single day at the excellence resort side. We became good friends with Monica, Alberto, Naomi, Jesus, Fabian at the excellence resort playing volleyball. (Sorry finest, they had better games on that side and we got jealous). Overall would definitely come back here. Even though it’s not adults only the kids did not bother us. (Maybe because we went during school starting). The room was clean everyday, the mini bar options were the best I’ve ever seen at an all inclusive. We loved the chocolate milk and the snickers!

It was our first all inclusive resort and it was amazing. We loved our server we were able to have for 3 nights. His name was Angel and he was nothing but the best and made our vacation. We hope to come back and see the same familiar faces.
