With endless deals on discount flights from Miami to New York, Orbitz takes the headache out of booking your ideal Miami to New York flights.
Flights from Miami to New York leave sunny southern Florida from Miami International Airport, the region's premier air traffic center and gateway to Latin America. Miami International is located eight miles northwest of the city's center and functions as a hub for American Eagle and American Airlines. To get to the airport, travelers can drive along I-95 South or head northbound on Le Jeune Road. Long-term parking is available at Miami International for $12 daily. Another option is taking the Tri-Rail commuter train from one of the city's stations. Upon arrival at Miami International, passengers can take the MIA Mover from the concourse to the terminal from which their Miami to New York flights depart.
Miami to New York flights will land in Queens, either at John F. Kennedy International Airport in Jamaica or by Flushing Bay at LaGuardia Airport. The airports share similarities, as both are hubs for Delta Airlines, but where JFK's primary appeal is its size and impressive flight schedule, LaGuardia is known foremost for its proximity to Manhattan. When disembarking on flights from Miami to New York at either airport, travelers can choose from many public transportation options, including the world's largest subway system, an extensive public bus system, and an aerial tramway. For those unbothered by traffic, rental car services and taxis are also available.
